Bron Breakker Becoming a Top Guy, Liv Morgan's Judgment Day Drama, More Raw Fallout
The June 3 edition of WWE Raw was all Judgment Day as Damian Priest, Finn Bálor and potential member Carlito were all in action.
Meanwhile, Dominik Mysterio is falling deeper into a rabbit hole with Liv Morgan, who taunted him but also protected him from Braun Strowman.
Meanwhile, Bron Breakker showed out in his most competitive main roster match by defeating Ricochet with a thunderous Spear, and Kiana James made her main roster debut with an upset victory over Natalya.
The Authors of Pain ran through The New Day as easily as The Creed Brothers last week, continuing to build momentum for themselves and Karrion Kross.
Monday was a wrestling-focused episode for the red brand that highlighted bright young WWE stars.
Liv Morgan Must Keep Focus on Women's Division Over Judgment Day Drama
1 of 4One of the major criticisms of Rhea Ripley's world title reign was that she was treated too often as a manager for The Judgment Day rather than being a champion of a women's division.
However, Liv Morgan is falling right back into the same spot as she puts more focus on Dominik Mysterio and the rest of The Judgment Day than she does on any woman on the roster.
While Morgan and Dirty Dom are building an intriguing story that has fans talking, the Raw women's division deserves a clearer direction than playing second fiddle to an angle that is already dominating TV time.
Lyra Valkyria was an obvious challenger for Morgan, but she has indicated she may not get her next opportunity until after Money in the Bank in early July.
Until Iyo Sky finds her confidence again and Becky Lynch returns to WWE, the entire Women's World Championship scene is non-existent.
Bron Breakker Will Main-Event WrestleMania Sooner Than Later
2 of 4Bron Breakker is a freak athlete, and fans all over the world are seeing it more than ever as he starts facing greater competition.
His match with Ricochet was good fun, highlighted by one of the smoothest Frankensteiners ever hit and another great Spear.
Beyond his great in-ring work, Breakker has also found his character on Raw as a chaotic destroyer, taking out everyone in his way.
The 26-year-old comes off as a top star in the making, and it won't be too long for WWE to commit to him as the new face of the company.
The WrestleMania main event has been an exclusive club for many years, but Breakker is going to find his way into that conversation as soon as 2025.
A 2025 men's Royal Rumble victory and a World Heavyweight Championship challenge would be a smart way to instantly create the next big thing in wrestling.
Kiana James Will Be Sure-Fire Breakout Star
3 of 4Who is Kiana James?
Hopefully, a strong contingent of WWE fans will be aware of her work in NXT, but even those watching the gold brand occasionally may not know her full potential.
While she was never an NXT women's champion and only briefly crowned a women's tag team titleholder with Fallon Henley, James will be a main roster champion.
The 27-year-old is a charismatic performer in and out of the ring who already works like a veteran, showcased briefly in tandem with Natalya in her debut match on the red brand.
Much like Tiffany Stratton on SmackDown, James will be one to watch in her rookie year. All it will take is strong performances in front of the right crowds.
Her talent will quickly establish her as one of WWE's brightest stars and a sure-fire breakout act by 2025.
Final Testament's Final Chance
4 of 4Karrion Kross returned to WWE in August 2022 with limited hype that dissipated long before he allied himself with the returning Authors of Pain.
Now, Final Testament has similarly lost its limited hype quickly.
However, a recent string of dominant wins for Akam and Rezar and memorable encounters between Kross and Xavier Woods have teased a greater story on the horizon.
Everything is rising on this New Day story for Final Testament. The next couple months will either show the group's potential or end it entirely.
The best option is that Kross and AOP keep winning while pushing The New Day into a new dynamic for the first time in almost a decade.
The worst option is Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods defeat Final Testament in the most important match of the rivalry and return to a status quo in which Kross just cuts promos on social media.
