SEC Baseball Tournament 2024: Championship Schedule and Predictions
With the conference's automatic bid into the College World Series, LSU and Tennessee square off in the finals of the SEC Baseball Championship Sunday from Hoover Metropolitan Stadium in Hoover, Alabama.
The Tigers bested South Carolina for the second time in the tournament to cash their ticket to the title game, this time on Steven Milam's two-run walk-off homer.
The Volunteers avenged an earlier defeat to the Vanderbilt Commodores, defeating them 6-4 Saturday, partially on the strength of Christian Moore's two-run homer.
Tennesse swept its series with LSU in 2024, outscoring the Tigers 17-8 in three games.
Can they make it four in a row or will the 2023 College World Series champs cash their ticket back to the grandest stage in collegiate baseball?
Find out with this preview of the game, as well as when and how to watch.

Prediction
Tennessee is no stranger to winning the SEC Baseball Championship.
The Vols won the 2022 title game and will look to make it two out of three when they battle the Tigers. It will not be easy.
LSU has an electric offense, throwing up 43 runs in the tournament thus far, including a come-from-behind win against South Carolina Saturday that saw them erase an eight-run deficit.
The Tigers do not rely on a single player to spur the offense. Their depth makes them unpredictable and keeps them in games, even when things appear hopeless.
The Volunteers have better, more consistent starting pitching, which should make for a fun battle Sunday afternoon in Hoover. Tennessee plays angry and with purpose, as if they are hellbent on regaining a championship they have chased for the last two years.
Still, LSU's resiliency and ability to score, seemingly at will, cannot be discounted. Nor can their desire to repeat as College World Series champions.
Prediction: LSU wins the SEC Baseball Championship
