Adam Sandler Wants Tiger Woods in Happy Gilmore 2 and Hypes 'Badass' Anthony Edwards

Happy Gilmore 2 is officially in the works, and the follow-up addition to Adam Sandler's classic comedy may include some huge names from the world of golf, including Tiger Woods if the actor gets his way.

"I would love it," Sandler said during Monday's The Dan Patrick Show (5:53 mark) when asked if Woods would be in the movie. "We'll see. I'm gonna write all of my dreams and then you never know what's going to happen. But we're going to try."

Sandler was also complimentary of Minnesota Timberwolves superstar Anthony Edwards, who he worked with on Netflix's 2022 movie Hustle.

"Every pro guy, when we were shooting the movie, loved him," he told Patrick. "He's just got something carefree and cool about him, and he wants to win and he's a badass. I love him."

The rest of the world is falling in love with Edwards, too, after his Wolves eliminated the defending champion Denver Nuggets in Game 7 of the Western Conference semifinals on Sunday night.
