Caitlin Clark met a pair of sports legends after the Indiana Fever's matchup with the New York Liberty on Saturday.

In the tunnel following the matchup in New York, Clark met tennis legend Billie Jean King and professional golfer Michelle Wie West.

Both King and West are icons in their respective sports. King is the former world No. 1 tennis player and won 39 Grand Slams throughout her career. West, an LPGA legend, is a U.S. Women's Open champion and has placed in the top three at several other majors.

As Clark begins her professional career, she's looking to have as much success as King and West.

She came out strong in her first game, putting up 20 points in a loss to the Connecticut Sun. On Saturday against the Liberty, Clark had 22 points, eight rebounds and six assists.

While Clark has had a promising start to her career, Indiana is still looking for its first win of the season after dropping its first three games. The Fever have failed to reach the postseason for the last seven years and went 13-27 in 2023.

After drafting Clark No. 1 overall in the WNBA draft, Indiana is hoping the top pick will help guide it to some wins after she gets adjusted to the professional ranks.
