Masters 2024 Tee Times and Pairings for Augusta National Golf Club Announced
Jon Rahm will open his Masters title defense alongside Matt Fitzpatrick and Nick Dunlap on Thursday.
The tournament unveiled its groupings for the first two rounds. Erik van Rooyen and Jake Knapp will officially get things started at 8 a.m. ET with 29 more groupings to follow.

That list didn't even include 2022 champion Scottie Scheffler, who's the betting favorite (+500) at DraftKings Sportsbook. He has the lowest scoring average (69.021) on the PGA Tour in 2024 and reeled off back-to-back wins in the Arnold Palmer Invitational and Players Championship.
Scheffler's group includes Rory McIlroy and Xander Schauffele, so this might be the most closely followed trio that doesn't include Tiger Woods. Schauffele has six top-10 finishes already, and his 69.924 scoring average trails only Scheffler's. McIlroy has yet to fully get going this year, but his third-place finish in the Valero Texas Open points to potentially improving fortunes.
For those fans who have to be strategic with their Masters viewing Thursday, the afternoon sessions will be the time to start tuning in. Tiger Woods, Jason Day, Brooks Koepka, Jordan Spieth and Dustin Johnson all tee off past 1 p.m. ET.
Even into the twilight of his career, Woods remains a singular star unlike any other in golf. It doesn't matter that he's a long shot to win, his every shot will be appointment viewing.
The 48-year-old spoke somewhat optimistically in March when laying out his plans for the 2024 season, but his early returns aren't encouraging. He withdrew from the Genesis Invitational midway through the second round in February and hasn't competed since.
If Woods can simply make the cut and get through all four rounds at Augusta National Golf Club, it will be considered by many to be a positive outcome. If his body continues to prevent him playing 72 holes, people will begin to wonder whether his availability for the remaining three majors is in jeopardy.
