This may not be an ideal time to cash in on any Ohtani collectibles, either, with the two-time MVP still ensnared in the gambling scandal surrounding his longtime interpreter, Ippei Mizuhara. The at-bat in which Ohtani hit the foul ball in question ended in a strikeout. Trying to get five figures for it will probably meet the same outcome.
