Latest WWE WrestleMania 40 Match Card Picks Including Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes
For wrestling fans, the Road to WrestleMania is one of the best times of the year, and the 2024 edition of WWE's marquee show has people more ready than ever for the in-ring action to kick off.
While an injury to CM Punk and terrible storytelling initially involving The Rock marred the build to the April 6-7 premium live event, WWE Creative has been able to pivot and create a card that hardcore and casual fans can get behind.
Here is the latest WrestleMania 40 card, the predicted winners in every announced match and a focus on several of the most important bouts, including the championship showdown between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes.

Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes
What was previously the biggest match of the WrestleMania 40 card, the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship clash between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes has taken a back seat to The Rock and his heel run.
With WWE pivoting from the original plan due to the backlash from fans when Rhodes handed his match against Reigns to The Great One, the subsequent build to the tag team match featuring the three men and Seth Rollins has been the main attraction.
Reigns vs. Rhodes has become an afterthought.
After talking about finishing his story for nearly two years, it is beyond time for WWE Creative to put the title around the challenger's waist.
The American Nightmare should have won at WrestleMania 39, and while there is little doubt a victory in Philadelphia would be huge, it pales in comparison to the impact it would have had if he had finished his story last year.
Rumors have circulated about potential interference from big names like "Stone Cold" Steve Austin or John Cena to offset the impact of The Bloodline, but even with an overbooked main event, the moment just doesn't hold the weight it would have in 2023.
LA Knight vs. AJ Styles
Over the last two weeks, WWE Creative has done a great job adding fuel to the fire between LA Knight and AJ Styles.
While the storyline started sluggish and dragged at periods throughout, the two men have developed a very personal rivalry that will culminate at Lincoln Financial Field.
The off-site video package last week added legitimate heat to a feud that missed the edge it needed to be a marquee addition to the 'Mania card. Now, with the battle being highly personal, the WWE Universe can get behind a competitive match that could help catapult Knight's career.
While Styles is one of the best in-ring workers in the business and the superior performer, The Megastar is one of the best talkers in the industry and has the potential to be an elite Superstar for years to come.
Letting Knight earn a career-defining victory over The Phenomenal One would cement his spot at the top of the card moving into the second half of 2024.
Jey Uso vs. Jimmy Uso
While other matches have bigger championship stakes, the bout most hardcore fans are looking forward to the most is the sibling rivalry between Jimmy and Jey Uso.
As seen across the history of wrestling—most famously between Bret and Owen Hart—two brothers going head-to-head can be magic in the ring.
With both men genuinely loving each other and pulling for each other's success, the WrestleMania match between The Usos has the potential to be an all-time masterpiece.
Jey has been one of the most popular faces in WWE since he turned on The Bloodline, while brother Jimmy has been a lackey for Reigns and an afterthought for much of the champion's reign.
That all changes at WrestleMania, though.
With Jey already immensely popular with the WWE Universe, The Show of Shows would be the perfect place for Jimmy to not only earn the biggest win of his career but also realize the error of his ways and join his brother in fighting on the side of justice and decency.
The two brothers hugging to end the match after a classic in-ring battle is what WrestleMania is all about.
