Drew McIntyre, Bayley and Superstars Guaranteed to Win at WWE WrestleMania 40
The Road to WrestleMania 40 has been unpredictable, to say the least, but several Superstars can't wait to get to Philadelphia and earn the biggest win of their WWE careers.
Top names such as Drew McIntyre and Bayley have been the cornerstones of the build to the April premium live event, carrying the load as injuries and poor booking forced WWE Creative to alter plans for several marquee stories.
Here are the performers guaranteed to walk out victorious on The Grandest Stage of Them All on April 6-7.
Drew McIntyre
Roman Reigns gets most of the love as one of the longest-reigning champions in WWE history, but Drew McIntyre has been the real MVP of the build to WrestleMania in 2024.
From his elite trash talk toward the often-injured CM Punk to his belittling promos aimed at world heavyweight champion Seth Rollins, the Scot is must-watch television every time he is on screen.
At WrestleMania 40, McIntyre is guaranteed to walk out victorious.
While the Superstar continues to tease a possible end to his current WWE contract, there is little doubt he has already re-signed behind the scenes, based on just how much time and energy is being put into his character.
One way to ensure the 38-year-old stays with the company is to put the world title around his waist following a significant win on The Grandest Stage of Them All.
Rollins has been dealing with a knee injury, and rumors have circulated that he may be taking time off after the April event.
With all the stars aligning, it's a sure-fire bet that McIntyre will walk out of Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia as a champion.
Bayley
After years of being one of the best characters in WWE, boasting elite promo abilities and wrestling at a top-tier level, Bayley will achieve greatness when she wins the WWE Women's Championship at WrestleMania 40.
There is no doubt Iyo Sky hasn't been booked well since winning the title, and the storyline about Damage CTRL turning on its leader hasn't lived up to expectations.
However, that doesn't discount how much Bayley deserves her 'Mania moment.
In addition to being involved in what many consider to be the best WWE women's match in history, Bayley has been a reliable worker who was repeatedly cast aside for the other members of the Four Horsewomen.
In Philadelphia, though, The Role Model will get her revenge on Sky and her former stablemates from a storyline perspective, but more importantly, she will capture the championship in front of a crowd that wants to celebrate her like a top-tier star.
Sami Zayn
There are few members of the main roster who deserve a massive WrestleMania moment more than Sami Zayn. In Philadelphia, he will earn that by claiming the Intercontinental Championship with a victory over Gunther.
Whether Chad Gable is involved or not, Zayn is walking out victorious.
The Underdog from the Underground was arguably the most enjoyable part of The Bloodline storyline for months, but a loss to Reigns at Elimination Chamber 2023 in the challenger's hometown of Montreal killed a lot of the momentum he had created.
The talented performer shined in a tag team with Kevin Owens, but he never managed to reach the same level he achieved with The Tribal Chief.
In recent weeks, though, his work with Gunther has catapulted him back to the top of the minds of the WWE Universe.
Adding Gable to the mix seems like a foregone conclusion, but expect Zayn to win the IC title at WrestleMania and continue his feud with the Olympic wrestler. At the same time, Gunther will deservedly move to the world title scene.
