Andre Iguodala Video: Watch Philadelphia 76ers' Sick Left-Handed Tip Slam
Andre Iguodala had not been a major factor offensively in last night's game vs. the New Orleans Hornets but with 1:32 seconds left in the fourth quarter, he made his presence known.
This emphatic, left-hand tip slam by Iguodala effectively shut the door on the Hornets and helped deliver the 76ers their third win in five games. That may not sound all that impressive, but considering the fact that all five games have come on the road to start the season, it makes it a bit more noteworthy.
The 76ers are the only team in the NBA that have yet to play at home, but that will end on Friday when they take on the Detroit Pistons in Philly.
Iguodala finished 2-of-10 from the field, though he tallied three steals and one block to go with three rebounds, one of the spectacular variety.
The Sixers look promising in the early going. The game at home against the Pistons is one they should win. They will finish the week at home against another team they should handle in the Toronto Raptors.
If all goes as planned, the Sixers should be looking at a 4-2 record overall at week's end.
That'll surely register a nice boost in the weekly power rankings on Sunday.
For now, all is quiet on the seemingly infinite Iguodala trade talk front, as Iggy and the Sixers are playing well.
