WWE 2k24: Tips and Strategies for Building an Effective Superstar for MyRISE Career

One of the most immersive parts of any WWE and 2K Games video game release is the creation suite, which allows fans to flex their imaginations while building a Superstar capable of defeating the biggest, baddest, and best competitors in pro wrestling history.

This year's WWE 2K24 is no different.

With a roster of over 200 wrestlers to potentially combat, the importance of developing the best Superstar possible to compete in the MyRISE mode becomes of the utmost importance.

Here are two things to keep in mind when doing so.

Have Fun

Creating a Superstar should not be a chore. With an expansive creation suite with infinite possibilities, fans have the opportunity to create a competitor for the men's or women's division that has its own personality.

Go big or go home.

Make your creation look outlandish, over the top, or as wild as you can. Point Doink the Clown and all of his bright, neon colors to shame.

If that is not your thing, create yourself as a Superstar.

Still not convinced? Find your favorite wrestler that is not already in the game and work to create them for battles with the iconic legends of yesteryear, such as The Undertaker, Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, and John Cena.

Regardless of the approach you take, have fun with it.

Know Your Opponents

This is the biggest one when it comes to the MyRISE career mode.

This year's men's division storyline culminates with a showdown with the mode's final boss, Roman Reigns. Your Superstar should be able to combat the highest-rated player in the game, countering his strength, speed, and explosive offense.

A technically skilled competitor, who excels at counters and submissions, would be best suited to battle The Tribal Chief and realistically give players a chance to score a victory.

For the women's division storyline, your Superstar starts as the runner of the most successful independent promotion but must now prove that she has what it takes to compete on the grand stage of WWE.

Given the depth of the women's roster and the variety of styles and backgrounds that exist, be it Bianca Belair's incredible strength and uber-athleticism or Becky Lynch's arm-based submission skills, it is a little more difficult to pinpoint a potential skill set to offset them.

A well-rounded competitor, with no overemphasis on any one area, would best set one up for victory.

The MyRISE feature includes several different twists and turns along the way, as well as cameos from top Superstars and legends along the way.

WWE 2K24's Deluxe and 40 Years of WrestleMania editions are available now. The game's Standard Edition releases Friday, March 8.
