John Cena's 'Peacemaker' Character Revealed in Mortal Kombat 1 DLC Video Trailer

John Cena is set to make his debut in Mortal Kombat as his character Peacemaker from the DC universe.

Warner Bros. Games released a trailer featuring Cena as a playable character in the Mortal Kombat 1 DLC pack that will be available on Wednesday.

One of Peacemaker's favorite sayings is, "I cherish peace with all of my heart. I don't care how many men, women and children I kill to get it."

It's appropriate, then, that Peacemaker's first step toward achieving his goal would be in a Mortal Kombat game. He can take down the entire Outworld and save Earthrealm without any repercussions.

Cena made his debut as Peacemaker in the 2021 movie The Suicide Squad. The character was spunoff into his own series that premiered in January 2022. Season two is expected to start filming at some point this year.

This will mark Cena's second appearance in a non-WWE video game. He was added as a downloadable character in Fortnite in 2022.

Mortal Kombat 1 is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, Nintendo Switch and Windows.
