Yankees Rumors: Pitching Addition Discussed by NY Amid Blake Snell Contract Buzz
New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge thinks the front office has at least one more trick up its sleeve this offseason.
"I definitely feel like there might be another move on the way, but you never know. We'll see," Judge told reporters Tuesday.

Andy Martino of SNY reported the Yankees remain engaged in talks with free-agent pitchers.
The Yankees have been linked to reigning NL Cy Young winner Blake Snell, who remains in search of a nine-figure payday. Snell went 14-9 with a 2.25 ERA and 1.19 WHIP while striking out 234 batters in 180 innings.
The 32-year-old would instantly help fortify a rotation fronted by fellow Cy Young winner Gerrit Cole, but Snell has struggled with consistency throughout his career. The 2023 season was just the second time in Snell's career he topped the 30-start mark, and he's topped 130 innings just twice.
While few would quibble with Snell having all of the arm talent in the world, his combination of injuries and command issues have led to a cooler-than-expected market. Snell will still undoubtedly wind up landing a big, long-term contract, but it may be for a number smaller than he and agent Scott Boras expected in November.
If the Yankees don't wind up signing Snell, a reunion with Jordan Montgomery is possible. Montgomery spent his first five-plus seasons in New York before being traded at the 2022 deadline and is coming off a heroic performance to help lead the Texas Rangers to a World Series.
Cheaper alternatives include Michael Lorenzen and Mike Clevinger.
