Video: Yankees Icon Derek Jeter Featured in New MLB The Show 24 'Storylines' Trailer

Ahead of the release of MLB The Show 24, a new trailer featuring New York Yankees legend Derek Jeter has been released.

The trailer features a look at storylines mode that allows gamers to recreate some of the most iconic moments from the Hall-of-Famer's career, including his leadoff homer in Game 4 of the 2000 World Series and the flip play in Game 3 of the 2001 ALDS.

Sony previously announced that the Negro Leagues will be featured in storylines mode in MLB The Show 24. The roster of Negro Leagues legends who will be featured when the game launches include Josh Gibson, Buck Leonard, Hank Aaron and Toni Stone.

Additional Negro Leagues legends will be added over the course of the year, with the first group set to be unveiled in April.

Jeter is one of the best modern-era players to build a storyline mode around. He has as long of a list of iconic singular moments as any MLB superstar in the past 30 years.

The Captain was the first player to hit a homer in an MLB game in the month of November in a non-exhibition game with his walk-off solo shot against the Arizona Diamondbacks in Game 4 of the 2001 World Series.

Storyline mode allows gamers to play through a narrative journey of important moments in the players career.

Gamers will have the chance to experience the Jeter storyline mode when MLB The Show 24 drops on March 19. It will be available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
