Big E Talks WWE Return amid Neck Injury Rehab: 'I Just Want to Make a Smart Decision'
WWE fans have been holding out hope that former WWE Champion Big E would be able to return to action at the Royal Rumble next week, but it sounds like they will have to wait a while longer.
Big E, who has been sidelined for nearly two years now as he continues to recover from a scary neck injury, told TMZ that it remains unclear when he will be able to return to the ring.
"I don't have a timeline, unfortunately, but thank you for asking," Big E said.

When asked if there are any concerns about ever being able to resume his wrestling career, Big E replied, "I just want to make a smart decision. I didn't start wrestling to end up in a wheelchair, so I just want to make sure I'm just making the best decision for myself."
Big E has been sidelined since March 2022 when he broke his neck after landing on his head during a tag team match on SmackDown Live.
Big E did provide a positive update, saying his bones are connected again. The beloved New Day member has been sorely missed during his time away, so any step in the right direction is a good sign.
Fans will continue to hold out hope that Big E will eventually get back to doing what he does best.
