"No. 1, I think we all know, [he's a] great human being," Snead said in part, per ESPN's Sarah Barshop.
"The guy is coded to respect everyone, to build a relationship with everyone no matter where you're at in the organization. What's awesome is, as he does that, you just see the respect flow back in his direction. He's coded for that. It's a superpower that I think would help any organization."
Snead heaped more praise on him, noting his "unique football acumen" as well. But head coach Sean McVay also offered a ringing endorsement.
"He's just such a great person," McVay said in part.
"He has got such an incredible high capacity for this game and the ability to be able to teach in a digestible manner. I can't say enough good things about him in terms of what he's meant to me."
Per CBS Sports' Jonathan Jones, Morris has four interviews that either took place or will soon:
Morris was just 32 years old when he was promoted from defensive backs coach to head coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Tampa went 3-13 in 2009 before vaulting to a 10-6 record in 2010. However, the Bucs fell back to 4-12 in 2011, and Morris was let go.
He didn't have any trouble finding work after Washington picked him up as its defensive backs coach (2012-2014). Morris then made his way to the Atlanta Falcons as an assistant head coach and pass game coordinator under Dan Quinn (2015-2019).
In 2016, Morris added wide receiver coach duties to his list of responsibilities, an interesting move considering his two-decade history on the defensive side of the ball. But Falcons wideouts fared quite well under him, particularly in 2016, when the team won the NFC title and quarterback Matt Ryan won MVP.
Morris moved back to defensive coordinator in 2020 and became interim head coach after Quinn was fired following an 0-5 start. Atlanta finished 4-7 under Morris, who left for the Rams to become their DC after the season.
Morris won his first-ever Super Bowl in 2021 as the Rams' DC. He's been with the team ever since and has clearly impressed during his time aboard. It's possible Morris won't be there much longer, though, given the level of interest in his services.
