Bayley Wins WWE Royal Rumble 2024 for Title Shot at Rhea Ripley or Iyo Sky
Bayley outlasted 29 other Superstars to win the 2024 women's Royal Rumble on Saturday night and earn a women's championship match at WrestleMania 40.
Assuming they both remain champions between now and The Show of Shows, Bayley will get to choose between challenging women's world champion Rhea Ripley and WWE women's champion Iyo Sky on The Grandest Stage of Them All.

The Role Model entered the match at No. 3 and eliminated Liv Morgan last to claim victory. Bayley was responsible for seven eliminations in all, including Indi Hartwell, Candice LeRae, Tegan Nox, Maxxine Dupri, Bianca Belair, Tiffany Stratton and the aforementioned Morgan.
Bayley notably took out Belair and Stratton simultaneously to gain an upper hand in the match.
The match's final sequence involved Bayley, Jade Cargill and Morgan perilously fighting on the side of the ring outside the ropes. Punches and kicks from all sides didn't end in anyone falling off. Eventually, Morgan landed an Oblivion on Cargill.
However, by that time, Bayley had regained her balance and got back into the ring, giving her the chance to knock Morgan out right after Cargill fell to the floor.
Saturday marked the seventh women's Royal Rumble in WWE history, and it can be argued that the field was more wide open and unpredictable than ever before.
No shortage of big names were involved in the match, and many of them looked like strong candidates to prevail and go on to WrestleMania.
Among them were two previous women's Rumble winners in Lynch and Belair, both of whom entered this year's event with a clear goal of returning to the top of Raw and SmackDown, respectively.
Lynch, who won the 2019 women's Rumble, confronted Ripley a couple of weeks ago on Raw and made it clear she wanted to win the match and prove to herself that she could beat The Eradicator.
Belair—the 2021 women's Rumble winner—has essentially been embroiled in a rivalry with Damage CTRL since the group's inception.
The EST of WWE lost the WWE Women's Championship when Sky cashed in on her at SummerSlam, and she has been pursuing the title ever since.
In terms of entrants who had never won a Rumble before, Bayley stood out as a top contender, especially since WWE has been building tension between her and the rest of Damage CTRL in recent weeks.
That storyline proved to be a clue, as she did indeed triumph at the Rumble, giving her one of the biggest wins of her illustrious career.
Her win makes for an intriguing angle regarding which champion she will go after at WrestleMania, but given how Damage CTRL has been treating her, Sky seems to be the likely target.
