Kansas St vs Arkansas: Predictions for Game's Top NFL Prospects
The Cotton Bowl between Kansas State and Arkansas contains many intriguing NFL prospects.
There aren't a ton of players who will likely crack the first round of the NFL Draft, but there are lots of good players in this game with some upside.
Here's a look at a few.
Jarius Wright, WR, Arkansas
The Razorbacks have a ton of talented wide receivers, but senior Jarius Wright is the best of them.
He doesn't have the ideal height (5'10"), but he has extreme speed and quickness that give him big-play ability (17.5 yards per catch for his career).
Look for the senior to have a big game against KSU. I'm thinking 130 yards and a touchdown.
If he can do that, he'll propel himself into the second round of the draft.
Tysyn Hartman, FS, Kansas State
Hartman is a ball hawk in every sense of the word.
The senior was fourth on the Wildcats with 62 tackles to go along with three interceptions. That gives him 10 picks on the season, which is sixth in school history.
He was twice named Second Team All-Big 12.
Hartman has dealt with a knee injury and can be a little spotty in coverage, but if he has a big game he can really push his stock into the middle rounds. As it stands, he's a sixth- or seventh-round pick right now.
Don't be surprised if he gets an interception or forces a fumble.
Jake Bequette, DE, Arkansas
Bequette led the Razorbacks defense with eight sacks while ranking seventh in the entire country in terms of sacks per game.
The kid simply knows how to get to the quarterback.
If he is able to corral shifty quarterback Collin Klein in this one, his stock will certainly go up. Look for the 6'5" senior to record multiple sacks in this one.
