Bears vs. Vikings Picks, Lineup Tips for DraftKings Daily Fantasy for MNF
Monday night's NFC North showdown between the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings is expected to have a high-profile absence.
Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson is listed as questionable, but he is not expected to play, per ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.
That news provides clarity for how DraftKings players build their daily fantasy football lineups for Monday night's showdown contests.
Minnesota's three-game sample size without Jefferson and Kirk Cousins should give us a good look into how the offense will look with Joshua Dobbs at the helm.
The approach with the Chicago roster should be simple. You should just trust the high-volume pass-catchers who work with Justin Fields.
D.J. Moore and Cole Kmet should have two of the highest roster percentages on DraftKings because of their potentially high volume.
Build Around Both Tight Ends

Tight end is the most trustworthy position for Monday's DFS contests.
Hockenson has been Minnesota's top pass-catcher since Jefferson went down with his injury and Kmet has been reliable all season for the Bears.
Hockenson produced at least 50 receiving yards in each of his last five appearances. He had three performances over 85 yards in that stretch.
The Vikings tight end earned 55 targets in the last five games, including a season high 15 looks in Minnesota's last home contest against the New Orleans Saints.
Kmet caught 24 passes in the last four weeks from Fields and Tyson Bagent. He has been Chicago's go-to guy across the middle all season.
Kmet only had nine receiving yards in his first meeting with the Vikings this season, but that can be brushed off since the Bears were forced into a quarterback change in the middle of that contest due to Fields' injury.
Before Week 6, Kmet produced at least four receptions and 40 yards in four straight meetings with the Vikings.
Hockenson and Kmet should be used as foundational pieces for DFS contests since there are not many top-tier wide receivers to choose from.
Trust D.J. Moore the Most of Any Wide Receiver
2 of 3
This is the most obvious piece of DFS advice anyone could give you for Monday.
Moore is coming off a seven-catch, nine-target performance in Fields' return. He will receive a similar level of attention from his quarterback once again.
Minnesota's wide receiver production could be difficult to figure out because Hockenson is the top target right now.
Jordan Addison, Brandon Powell and KJ Osborn all had fewer receiving yards than Hockenson and backup tight end Josh Oliver in Week 11's loss to the Denver Broncos.
Two weeks ago, Hockenson was responsible for 134 of Minnesota's 268 receiving yards. Addison was the only other Vikings player over 50 receiving yards.
At least with Moore you know he will receive a bulk of the Bears targets with Darnell Mooney and others cast in supporting roles.
Moore had five more targets than Kmet last week and seven more looks from Fields than any other Chicago wide receiver.
A foundation of Moore, Hockenson and Kmet should fetch a good amount of DFS points, and that would leave you with the tough decision on which depth players to choose to add to that lineup.
Ty Chandler Headlines Value Plays
3 of 3
Ty Chandler has the potential to produce the most points from the group of lower-salaried players.
Chandler possesses a $5,800 salary on DraftKings, which is far less than Alexander Mattison's $7,400.
Chandler could exploit a major deficiency in the Chicago defense, which gives up the most receiving yards to opposing running backs.
The Bears also conceded 68 receptions on 83 targets to running backs. That was the highest total in the NFL entering Week 12.
Chandler caught all four of his targets from Joshua Dobbs last week. He also earned 25 carries over the last two weeks.
Chandler's workload is on par with Mattison entering Monday, and he appears to be the better DFS play of the two Vikings running backs and the best one to pair with the likely top point earners in Monday's contest.
