Three-Game Parlay
1 of 3
49ers -7 versus Seahawks
Dolphins -8 versus Jets
Steelers -1 versus Bengals
Divisional games can be tricky to predict, and it's not always safe to back road favorites. However, the San Francisco 49ers, Miami Dolphins and Pittsburgh Steelers are all trending as favorable picks in the early week.
The 49ers have regained their groove post-bye, recording back-to-back convincing wins over the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Quarterback Brock Purdy is playing well again—he had a perfect 153.8 passer rating in Week 11—and the defense has returned to playoff-caliber form.
The Seattle Seahawks, meanwhile, have started to stumble. They've lost two of their last three and were very fortunate to escape with a win over the Washington Commanders in Week 10.
This is a must-win game for the 49ers, who need it to stay atop the NFC West standings. They should win by more than a touchdown.
The Dolphins should also win big against a New York Jets team struggling to find offensive answers. New York benched quarterback Zach Wilson during a blowout loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, and now, it's unclear who will start in Week 12.
According to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, Tim Boyle will get the start.
A quarterback change isn't likely to mean much, though, against a Dolphins defense that suddenly appears potent. Getting Jalen Ramsey on that side of the ball has helped Miami tremendously, and the Dolphins have allowed an average of just 17 points over the last three games.
The Dolphins are balanced, dangerous and should win convincingly against the Jets.
The Steelers might not win convincingly against the Bengals, but they should win. For the second straight week, Pittsburgh will face a backup quarterback, as Joe Burrow is done for the season with a wrist injury.
The Steelers struggled against a good Cleveland Browns defense on Sunday, but the Bengals have serious concerns on defense. Cincinnati has surrendered 64 points over its past two games.
Pittsburgh needs to get more out of Kenny Pickett and its passing offense, but it should get back in the win column against the Bengals in Week 12.
Single-Game Parlay
2 of 3
Dolphins -8 versus Jets
Dolphins -375 (bet $375 to win $100) to Win
Dolphins and Jets over 41 Points
The emergence of a strong Dolphins defense makes Miami a very enticing play against the Jets. Quarterback questions aside, nothing has really worked for New York offensively in recent weeks.
"It's pretty easy to see," Jets coach Robert Saleh said, per ESPN's Rich Cimini. "You've got missed protections, you've got dropped balls, you've got missed routes."
New York has converted a league-low 22.9 percent of its third-down attempts.
Miami is a virtual lock to win, and it should win by more than a touchdown. Packaging the line and the money line along with the over feels like the right call here. While the Dolphins and Las Vegas Raiders only reached 33 points in Week 11, Miami had three drives end in turnovers.
The Dolphins also missed a field goal and turned it over on downs at the Las Vegas 3-yard line. Expect Miami to be a little more efficient offensively against the Jets, who are good defensively but not great.
The Jets may also be on the verge of collapse, and their defense outright folded against the Bills on Sunday. This is a low points line for a game involving playmakers like Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, and as long as the Jets can reach double digits, it should hit the over.
Over/Under Parlay
3 of 3
Dolphins and Jets over 41 Points
Cowboys and Commanders over 48.5 Points
Steelers and Bengals Over 35 Points
The Dolphins and Jets should hit the over, and we'd expect the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Commanders to do the same.
Dallas has gotten into a groove offensively scoring no fewer than 23 points over its last four games and topping 32 points in three of four. The Cowboys also seem happy to run up the score against lesser opponents, which they've done against the Los Angeles Rams, New York Giants and Carolina Panthers.
The Washington Commanders and their 32nd-ranked scoring defense isn't likely to provide a lot of resistance to the Cowboys, who should score into the 30s once again. The Commanders, meanwhile, should get enough out of Sam Howell and the offense to push the points total into the 50s.
Washington has scored no fewer than 19 points in any of its last four games.
The Steelers and Bengals, meanwhile, are likely headed for a low-scoring affair. Jake Browning may be a serviceable QB for Cincinnati, but he's a clear downgrade from Joe Burrow.
The Steelers defense should keep Cincinnati's scoring low, Pittsburgh's offense, meanwhile, hasn't scored more than 26 points in a game this season.
However, this is an extremely low line, and the Bengals defense is a liability and won't stonewall the Steelers as Cleveland did. Two of Pittsburgh's last three games have topped 35 points, and this one should too.
