WWE: Will 2011's Positives and Negatives Continue or Will 2012 Bring Change?

David RutterJun 7, 2018

WWE's 2012 year kicked off into high gear last night.

It was full of surprises, long-awaited returns, decent wrestling and plenty of crazy head-scratching R-Truth moments.

I personally think it was a very good edition of Monday Night Raw. It gave us just the right amount of suspense and entertainment to make you want to tune in next week.

2012 picked up right where 2011 left off in terms of reaching back into the past to try and deliver for the future.

2011 saw the return of numerous legends and heroes, including Mick Foley, Stone Cold, HBK, Trish Stratus, Triple H, Kevin Nash, Booker T and of course, The Rock.

Last night, we saw the return of one of the most popular and gifted superstars of our time. His name is Chris Jericho.

I'm not going to recap what happened last night because it's already been done, and it would just be a waste of your time. I'm glad Jericho is back because he's one of the few wrestlers who can adapt and compete in any era.

I defiantly think Vinnie Mac has so many options in terms of compelling storylines and resources that he can make 2012 a phenomenal year.

The purpose of this article is to see what you (the reader) think 2012 will look like for World Wrestling Entertainment.

Will Chris Jericho make a major impact like he has in the past?

Will CM Punk's quest for change last long enough to make a substantial impact?

Will The Rock vs. John Cena at Wrestlemania live up to the hype?

Will The Rock stick around past Wrestlemania (even in a part-time position)?

Will any former Attitude Era and/or Ruthless Aggression Era superstars come back home?

Is there anyone you're hoping will be inducted into the Hall of Fame this year?

How do you think the WWE Network will be by December?

What do you think the WWE landscape will look like by the end of the year?

Is there any particular wrestler you think will break out and become a major player?

What do you think the WWE will look like at the end of the year?

Just to be clear, this is not fantasy booking; this is just a place for people to talk and discuss their opinions.

If I end up getting enough opinions, I'll do a follow-up article that highlights the thoughts of everyone.
