WWE News: Huge Update on the Rock's Next Appearance on WWE Programming
The Rock returned to the WWE for Wrestlemania 27 and for the 25th anniversary of Survivor Series, but as great as it was to see him back in a WWE ring, he’s now gone again.
He hasn’t appeared on WWE programming since Survivor Series, and less than three months before his epic encounter with John Cena at Wrestlemania 28, we’re not sure when we’ll see him back on Monday Night Raw.
Or are we?

"F4WOnline.com is reporting that The Rock is currently scheduled to make another WWE TV appearance within the next few weeks. The Rock is finishing principle photography on his new film "Snitch," and will spend most of February promoting his upcoming movie "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island."

While the ending of Monday’s Raw was a bit cheesy, I really like the potential of the ongoing storyline between John Cena and Kane. However, it can’t go on so long that it takes away from the build to The Rock vs. Cena on the grandest stage of them all.
In a perfect world, The Rock would make an appearance on Raw between now and the Royal Rumble and—much like Kane is doing—try to get Cena to embrace the boos.
The Rock is the greatest promo guy ever. He could easily cut a promo in which he attempts to get Cena to admit that he can’t stand that the fans cheer The Rock while booing him. It would add even more intrigue to Cena’s storyline with Kane and would lead to a much needed character change for Cena.
Like during Cena’s feud with The Miz, I really don’t think it would be too hard to have Cena essentially focus on two separate feuds—one with The Rock, one with Kane—which cross paths on a number of occasions.
Besides generating a ton of pay-per-view buys, the main goal of the Wrestlemania 28 match between Rock and Cena should be to tweak Cena’s character so that it isn’t so ridiculously stale anymore.
And, if The Rock comes back soon to join in on Kane’s promos toward Cena, we could definitely see that happen.
