NFL Playoff Picks: Which Teams Are the Most Dangerous Underdogs?
Heading into Wild Card Weekend, there are four teams that will try to pull upsets.
Some teams will be pulling off bigger upsets than others, but they will still be upsets. As the underdog, there are a few things each team must do.
First, they need to win the turnover battle. You can't win on the road when you're giving the ball away. If the underdog holds onto the ball, they can force a turnover and have a shot at winning.

Then, the teams must be efficient in the red zone. If you get that far down the field, you need to get six points. When teams don't convert in the red zone, they usually don't win, especially on the road.
Finally, you need to have good quarterback play. In today's game, the quarterback is even more important than in the past. If the quarterback doesn't play well, they have a tough time winning in the playoffs.
So, here are the most dangerous teams to pull off first-round upsets, using the seeds to decide who is the favorite.
4. Cincinnati Benglas
I like the Bengals, but they are playing a tough opponent.
The Bengals may not turn the ball over, but they do not score in the red-zone nearly enough. Their 45 percent touchdown rate ranks 26th in the league. If they don't convert six points, they won't be winning in the playoffs.
Andy Dalton is a solid quarterback, but he isn't quite ready to win in the playoffs. Give him some time, and he'll be a serious threat to win some playoff games.
The Lions are a solid football team, and they're dangerous. With Calvin Johnson and Matthew Stafford, they could make some serious noise.
However, they just lost a shootout to Matt Flynn. How on earth are they going to stop Drew Brees?
Look, they stand a good chance, but they don't have the best quarterback in the game, making it tough to pull off the upset.
The New York Giants are an everlasting conundrum. If their best team shows up, they could blow the Falcons out of the water. However, we can't count on that.
Considering there is a 50 percent chance that the Falcons play a terrible team, they are in good shape. They run the ball well, which sets up Matt Ryan to make big plays.
If he outplays Eli Manning, the Falcons will be heading to the next round.
The Denver Broncos have a serious chance to beat the Steelers, but I wouldn't bet on it.
I think they stand a better chance than people think, but the Steelers are still poised to pull an upset. With Ben Roethlisberger ready to have a big game, the Steelers are ready to end Tebow Mania.
I like the Broncos, but I still think the Steelers are the team most ready to win as the underdogs.
