2012 NFL Draft Order: Full List for All 32 Teams

Zach KruseJun 7, 2018

The following is the 2012 NFL draft order. The first 20 teams selecting are locked in, but two coin flips will decide the fate of four teams. 21-32 will be determined by playoff results. For the sake of clarity, we'll rank 21 to 32 by record.

1. Indianapolis Colts (2-14)

Is there any way for this pick not to be Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck?

2. St. Louis Rams (2-14)

The Rams actually lucked out in getting the No. 2 pick. Luck will be off the board, but there should be a number of teams lining up with deals for the Rams' draft spot. Robert Griffin III will likely be the prize that's worth trading up for.

3. Minnesota Vikings (3-13)

4. Cleveland Browns (4-12)

5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-12)

6. Washington Redskins (5-11)

7. Jacksonville Jaguars (5-11)

8. Miami Dolphins (6-10)*

9. Carolina Panthers (6-10)*

Things are trending up in Carolina, and the addition of another big-time receiver could help push the Panthers offense into the NFL's elite in 2012. Alshon Jeffrey, Justin Blackmon and Michael Floyd could all be options at No. 9.

10. Buffalo Bills (6-10)

11. Seattle Seahawks (7-9)**

12. Kansas City Chiefs (7-9)**

13. Arizona Cardinals (8-8)

14. Dallas Cowboys (8-8)

15. Philadelphia Eagles (8-8)

16. New York Jets (8-8)

17. Cincinnati Bengals (from Oakland) (8-8)

In exchange for disgruntled quarterback Carson Palmer, the Raiders sent their 2012 first-round pick to Cincinnati. Palmer threw for 2,753 yards with 13 touchdowns and 16 interceptions.

18. San Diego Chargers (8-8)

19. Chicago Bears (8-8)

20. Tennessee Titans (9-7)

21. Denver Broncos (8-8)

22. New York Giants (9-7)

23. Cincinnati Bengals (9-7)

24. Detroit Lions (10-6)

25. Cleveland Browns (from Atlanta Falcons)

The Browns acquired this pick last April in a trade that allowed the Falcons to draft Alabama receiver Julio Jones. During his rookie season, Jones had 959 yards receiving and eight touchdowns.

26. Houston Texans (10-6)

27. Pittsburgh Steelers (12-4)

28. Baltimore Ravens (12-4)

29. New England Patriots (from New Orleans)

The Saints sent this pick to New England when they traded up to draft Alabama running back Mark Ingram. In an injury-plagued season, Ingram rushed for 474 yards and five touchdowns.

30. San Francisco 49ers (13-3)

31. New England Patriots (13-3)

32. Green Bay Packers (15-1)

The Packers need pass-rushing help in the worst way this offseason, and it won't take an early playoff exit to prove that. Green Bay gave up the most passing yards in NFL history this season. Getting a pash rusher is goal No. 1 in Titletown.
