NFL Insider on Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams Reunion with Raiders: 'Money Talks'
A person close to Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams reportedly believes a reunion between Adams and quarterback Aaron Rodgers in Vegas is possible next season.
Speaking to ESPN, the anonymous source said, "[Rodgers] was his QB for eight years, they were close when it counted, and money talks—Nevada is a tax-free state."
Rodgers has spent his entire NFL career in Green Bay, but a trade is considered possible this offseason, as the Packers are considering whether they want to give former first-round pick Jordan Love the opportunity to prove himself as a starting quarterback.

Rodgers is in a state of flux since the Packers have to decide between whether to keep him and potentially move on from Jordan Love without ever giving him a fair shake, or trade arguably the best quarterback in franchise history in favor of a signal-caller with limited starting experience.
Although Rodgers has spent his entire 18-year NFL career in Green Bay, he has been receptive to the idea of a trade if the Packers want to move on.
During an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show (h/t ESPN's Rob Demovsky) last week, Rodgers said he is "open to all honest and direct conversations" and that a trade "wouldn't offend me, and it wouldn't make me feel like a victim."
A handful of teams in need of a veteran starting quarterback would undoubtedly love to have the 39-year-old Rodgers, but there may not be a better fit than the Raiders.
They will almost certainly move on from veteran quarterback Derek Carr before he is due over $40 million in guaranteed money this month. The Raiders benched Carr for the final two games of the 2022 campaign, effectively signaling the end of his tenure in Las Vegas.
Although the Packers went a disappointing 8-9 in 2022 and missed the playoffs, and Rodgers had his fewest-ever passing yards in a full season (3,695) plus his most interceptions (12) since 2008, he isn't far removed from dominance.
Rodgers won his third and fourth career NFL MVP awards in 2020 and 2021, and a big reason for his success was the presence of wide receiver Davante Adams.
Adams scored a career-high 18 touchdowns in 2020 and set career marks with 123 receptions and 1,553 yards in 2021. He was named a first-team All-Pro in each of those seasons as well.
The Packers traded Adams to the Raiders during the offseason, reuniting him with his college teammate in Carr, but with Carr almost certainly on the move, a reunion with Rodgers may be the next best thing for Adams.
Rodgers suffered without a go-to receiver this season, but his connection and familiarity with Adams could get him back on track in Las Vegas. He would also have a better supporting cast as a whole with tight end Darren Waller, slot receiver Hunter Renfrow and running back Josh Jacobs, provided the latter is re-signed.
The New York Jets are also a team to watch since Rodgers' former offensive coordinator, Nathaniel Hackett, is the new OC in New York, but the Adams relationship could make the Raiders the dream landing spot for Rodgers if he is traded.
