Lakers Rumors: LeBron James to Return from Ankle Injury Absence vs. Knicks
Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James will be on the floor for Tuesday's game against the New York Knicks, per ESPN's Dave McMenamin.
He missed Monday's loss to the Brooklyn Nets because of left ankle soreness.
James has been mostly healthy this season, though he missed a stretch in November because of a lingering groin injury. He has also missed games here and there with various ailments.

The 38-year-old has remained L.A.'s best player this season and has had to weather significant stretches without co-star Anthony Davis, who has struggled to stay healthy.
James is averaging 30.2 points, 8.5 rebounds and 7.1 assists in 40 games while shooting 50.7 percent from the floor and 31.2 percent from deep. When he's sidelined, there isn't anyone who can quite make up for his production.
With the Lakers sitting 13th in the Western Conference at 23-28 and not far out of a playoff spot, they desperately need James to stay healthy for a chance at the postseason.
