Report: Lakers' Dennis Schröder in Car Stopped by Lapd for Improper Plates

Los Angeles Lakers guard Dennis Schröder was a passenger in a car stopped by police Wednesday night.

TMZ Sports reported the vehicle carrying Schröder was stopped because of improper plates. The vehicle was ticketed for the violation and Schröder left the scene without any further police interaction.

"I don't know what happened," Schröder said during the stop. "I'm still surprised."

The police interaction came just after the Lakers earned a 113-104 win over the San Antonio Spurs. Schröder had nine points, eight rebounds, five assists and four steals, and the Lakers outscored the Spurs by 15 points when he was on the floor.

The veteran guard is averaging 12.3 points, 3.8 assists and 2.6 rebounds this season.
