Cowboys vs. Giants: Brandon Jacobs Will Steamroll DeMarcus Ware and Dallas D
In a Week 17 matchup that's essentially a play-in game between the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants, Giants RB Brandon Jacobs and the offense will prove to be too much to handle for the Cowboys D.
Smack talk from both teams throughout the week has had this NFC East rivalry grow all the more heated throughout the week. According to the New York Daily News, Jacobs had this to say in regard to the Dallas Cowboys fans.
"“Just everywhere you go, you’ve got them Dallas fans running their mouth about Dallas," Jacobs said. It’s not really the team and the star and all that. They’re just like any other team in the National Football League if you ask me. But their fans are the ones that have me really just feeling the way I feel.”

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Jacobs has made it evident there's a bitter relationship brewing more tense between the Giants and Cowboys. Yet, when it's all said and done, the Cowboys don't stand a chance against the Giants on the road.
When it comes to momentum, it's the Giants that have played arguably their best football of the season in its last two games. The team has won two of its last three games, with one of the wins ironically coming against QB Tony Romo and the Cowboys in Dallas.
The other win came last week against the Jets on the road as well which has made both the wins all the more impressive.
Meanwhile, the Cowboys come into this contest playing as poorly as they have all year. In the team's last four games, the Cowboys have managed to go just 1-3. With the exception of the Giants, all of the teams the Cowboys played were teams under .500 on the year.
Easily the biggest reason behind a late-season slide has to be the lackluster play of the defense. In its last four games, the team has given up at least 20 points three times and over 30 points twice. In the loss to the Giants in Week 14, the Cowboys gave up a 12-point lead and a 15-point fourth quarter.
In the win for the Giants in Week 14, Jacobs was the one player that weakened the Dallas D severely. Despite being led by Pro Bowl LB DeMarcus Ware, the Cowboys gave up 102 yards and two touchdowns in the loss.
If the Giants expect to win big over the Cowboys, it will inevitably be a big day for RB Brandon Jacobs. His ability to break down a Dallas defense struggling as of late will be key in this contest.
Considering the Dallas D hasn't shown much sign of improvement since their first meeting, expect Jacobs to pick up big-time runs early and often in this one.
In what will be a Giants victory and spot in the 2012 NFL playoffs, Jacobs will be a force out of the backfield and should have Dallas searching for answers early defensively.
