Reigns Open to Match vs. The Rock

Roman Reigns has no idea if a match against his cousin, The Rock, is in the cards, but he is open to the opportunity.

Appearing on the Impaulsive podcast with YouTuber and fellow WWE Superstar Logan Paul (h/t Amit Shukla of Ringside News), Reigns said the following about possibly facing The Most Electrifying Man in Entertainment: "I don't book the show, brother. I mean, I'm up for anything. They keep trying on this one. If it works out, I'm ready, and it seems it's been this way."

Both Reigns and The Rock have remained publicly amenable to wrestling each other, but there seemingly hasn't been much movement on that front.

It is possible that head of creative Triple H and other executives are hard at work to lock in a massive Reigns vs. Rock main event for WrestleMania 39 in Inglewood, California, next year, but fans remain in the dark about what kind of progress has been made.

Reigns vs. The Rock is viewed by a large portion of the wrestling fanbase as one of the biggest potential dream matches available to WWE, and it is clear that most would love to see it.

Given Reigns' heel character and Tribal Chief moniker, a storyline between him and his cousin essentially writes itself.

For the past two years, Reigns has referred to himself as the Head of the Table, claiming that he provides for his entire family and is the one everyone looks to for leadership and guidance.

In actuality, The Rock is one of the biggest movie stars in the world and the most successful member of the family, and his presence would fly in the face of what Reigns is trying to portray.

Reigns vs. The Rock would arguably be among the biggest matches in WWE history, but whether or not it happens likely comes down to whether The Rock is able to carve out enough time in his busy schedule to make it happen.

Morgan Takes Shot at Rousey

SmackDown women's champion Liv Morgan isn't pulling any punches ahead of her title match against Ronda Rousey at Extreme Rules next month.

In response to a tweet supporting Morgan, she took a shot at Rousey by claiming that Rousey doesn't care about WWE and doesn't love it as much as she does:

Morgan seemed to be firing back at Rousey after the former UFC champion called Liv a "Hooters Barbie" during an appearance on WWE's SmackDown LowDown:

Rousey was referring to Morgan's past as a Hooters waitress before breaking into the wrestling business in an apparent effort to get under the champ's skin.

Morgan and Rousey have been embroiled in a rivalry since Money in the Bank, which saw Liv win the women's Money in the Bank ladder match before cashing in on Rousey later in the night after Rousey retained the SmackDown Women's Championship in a grueling match against Natalya.

Rousey was initially gracious in defeat, leading to a rematch at SummerSlam, which Morgan also won.

The victory came under controversial circumstances, as Morgan tapped out to an armbar, only for the referee to count Rousey's shoulders down to the mat when he didn't see the tap.

A furious Rousey attacked Morgan and the referee after the match, and after serving a suspension, she established herself as No. 1 contender again.

Morgan is already the first person in WWE history to beat Rousey twice, but doing so for a third time promises to be a massive challenge.

Owens Reportedly a Babyface on WWE Roster

Kevin Owens' recent on-screen transformation has reportedly been done with the goal of making him a fan favorite once again.

According to PWInsider.com's Mike Johnson, Owens is now being listed as a babyface on the internal roster after a lengthy run as one of Raw's top heels.

KO reached the height of his heel tenure at WrestleMania 38 in April when he headlined Night 1 against WWE Hall of Famer "Stone Cold" Steve Austin in Austin's first match in 19 years.

Owens feuded with Ezekiel after that, but in recent weeks, he has set his sights on undisputed WWE universal champion Roman Reigns and The Bloodline.

The Canadian Superstar has also attempted to convince longtime friend Sami Zayn that The Bloodline is not looking out for his best interests and is merely using him to get ahead.

Owens has also taken aim at Mr. Money in the Bank Austin Theory, beating him in a match on Raw last week and brawling with him this week.

WWE is seemingly building toward an eventual world title match between Owens and Reigns with Zayn caught in the middle. That could conceivably lead to Owens and Zayn joining forces again, and challenging The Usos for the undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships.

Owens has excelled in every role he has played during his time in WWE, but he clearly has a ton of fan support on his side currently and WWE seems to be striking while the iron is hot by pushing him as one of the top babyfaces on Raw.
