Red Bull No Limits New Years Eve: Insane Stunt Is Perfect Way to Ring in 2012

Kyle VassaloDec 31, 2011

Robbie Maddison is going to be jumping nearly 400 feet during his death-defying New Year's stunt.

While watching a lame New Year's party and an overhyped celebrity drop in the New Year's ball is mildly interesting, audiences around the world aren't going to be able take their eyes off of this ridiculous jump.

Maddison has a screw loose and it makes him the perfect candidate to represent Red Bull in their No Limits campaign.

There is a certain appeal that these stunts carry that can't be duplicated. Maddison will literally be risking his life trying to break a world record.

As we all tackle the new year, what better way to get it started than by watching a guy defy logic and reason, putting fear to the wayside and going for it the way Maddison is?

He's not the only crazy man doing a jump either. Levi Lavallee is going to complete his record-breaking stunt on a snowmobile.

Red Bull is all about breaking down boundaries and pushing the limits and Maddison and Lavallee's spectacular stunts will undoubtedly defy what is possible.

As excited as audiences should be to have Carson Daly introduce them to 2012, he is unlikely to have the masses on the edge of their seat like Maddison and Lavallee will.
