Drake Wins $225K After Betting on Drake London to Be 1st WR Picked in 2022 NFL Draft

Atlanta Falcons first-round draft pick Drake London wasn't the only successful Drake on Thursday night.

Hip-hop star Drake placed a $100,000 bet that the former USC star would be the first wide receiver selected in the first round of the 2022 NFL draft, and he earned $225,000 in winnings when the Falcons took London with the No. 8 pick.

London is a 6'4" standout who will provide a huge target on the outside for Atlanta, filling the void of Julio Jones after his departure last year. London recorded 88 receptions for 1,084 yards and seven touchdowns in just eight games for the Trojans before his season was cut short by a broken ankle. He's expected to be ready to go by the start of the 2022 NFL season.
