WWE News: The Latest on Minor Pay-Per-Views Moving to the WWE Network
As the WWE enters 2012, there will be more changes to the company in the New Year besides the ones that WWE Champion CM Punk has been trying to initiate in the past few months.
"As of right now, the monthly pay-per-views will be available on the WWE Network according to The Wrestling Observer. The only pay-per-views that will remain exclusive to traditional pay-per-view ordering is WrestleMania, Royal Rumble, SummerSlam and Survivor Series.
This will being once the network launches which is expected on April 1st, the day of WrestleMania 28. This means that the Extreme Rules PPV would be the first to be available for those who have the WWE Network.

This is a great move for the WWE as buy rates for the non-Big Four events have continued to slip with people streaming the events online on a multitude of websites and simply not wanting to spend the money on the card.
While the subscription fee for the new channel has yet to be released, it will certainly be better paying the monthly fee compared to spending $50 a month for the nine other events during a year.
As the pay-per-view schedule might be changing with the Money in the Bank match moving back to WrestleMania, the current stable of minor pay-per-views still have some great potential with Hell in a Cell in October, TLC in December and Elimination Chamber in February among other events.
If I was given the opportunity to subscribe to the WWE Network this spring, the move of the pay-per-views to the channel along with the programming scheduled would make the new WWE venture a must-buy next year.
So Bleachers, will the change in the minor pay-per-view setup entice you to subscribe to the WWE Network when it debuts in April?
