Dwyane Wade Video: Watch Heat Star Go Superman with Game Winner over Bobcats
Even in their worst performance of the year, the Miami Heat produced several stunning plays:
We got to see:
LeBron's head-rattling jam, that saw the ball bounce off of Gerald Henderson's dome.
James' sick save/touchdown pass to Wade for the easy slam.
Chris Bosh's thunderous slam on D.J. White.
In the concluding play, the Heat thrilled us again when Wade took on capable defender, Gerald Henderson. He drove hard left, stopped about seven feet from the basket, and banked in the game-winner with 2.8 seconds left.
The shot gave the Heat the 96-95 victory. Wade actually had a slow game, as he was nagged by a foot injury, but you couldn't tell on this play. He finished with 10 points and four assists.
To top it off, Wade gave court-side spectator, Cam Newton, the superman gesture as he ran to the sidelines for the subsequent timeout.
The Bobcats played hard, but they blew a 17-point first half lead. The Heat's defensive intensity and playmakers proved to be enough in the end.
The Heatles brought it big time in the second half. Bosh finished with 25 points and six rebounds, James was absolutely dominant, he keyed the run in the second half and finished with 35 points, six rebounds, seven assists, two steals and two blocks.
The word "scary" has been used numerous times to describe the way the Heat have played through the first three games, and although not at their sharpest last night, they, like all great teams, found a way to win a tough game.
