Damian ParsonNov 8, 2026, updated 7 min ago

The Philadelphia Eagles host NFC East divisional rival, the New York Giants. A battle between two teams that are heading in different directions.

The Eagles are 2-6 and 1-2 in the division; they are on a six-game losing streak heading into this matchup.

Meanwhile, the New York Giants are 4-2-1 and top of the NFC East standings. J.J. McCarthy has played fairly well since the trade from Minnesota and looks to keep rolling against a tough Eagles defense.

Will the Eagles finally get off the schneid? Odds are not in their favor!

Since the unfortunate blood clots have Jalen Hurts out for the rest of the season, the Eagles have trotted out Tanner McKee. He performed like a quarterback best suited to be a backup.

Today, against the strong Giants' defense, former Dallas Cowboys backup Joe Milton takes over as QB1. Milton has incredible physical tools, including his size/frame and incredible arm strength.

Milton is more mobile than McKee and brings a different level of confidence and aggression as a passer. He will have the opportunity to make a case for himself as a starting quarterback for either the Eagles or another team this offseason.
