UFC Fight Night: Moicano vs. Nolan Live Updates, Highlights and Results

Happy Halloween, fight fans!

Tonight, as ghosts and ghouls prowl the streets, the UFC will return to its Apex headquarters in Las Vegas with an under-the-radar 12-fight card.

In the main event, fan favorite Brazilian veteran Renato Moicano will look to make it two wins in a row against rising Australian, who will attempt to transform from prospect to contender with a big victory.

The co-main event, meanwhile, will be a fun one at welterweight, with dangerous veteran Randy Brown looking to slow the rise of undefeated finished Jacobe Smith.

You won't find many ranked fighters on the rest of the bill, but it features quite a few matchups that looks like they could be very entertaining.

As always, B/R will have you covered with full results and highlights, from the first fight to the last.

The undercard kicks off at 5:00 pm ET. The main card will start at 8:00.

Mickey Gall's Last Stand?

UFC Fight Night: Moicano v Nolan

Next up, we've got an interesting middleweight fight pitting Zach Reese (10-4) against former welterweight Mickey Gall (7-7), the man who famously spoiled CM Punk's UFC debut.

Reese has lost two straight, most recently suffering a quick knockout defeat against Ryan Gandra.

Gall is riding four straight losses, and has also been very inactive, with his last fight occurring way back in 2024. While his poor recent results just about guarantee this is his last shot in the UFC, he claims to have levelled up under the tutelage of his new coach, former ONE Championship star Aung La N Sang.

Let's see if he can defend his spot on the roster as a big underdog.

Kropschot Scores Sick Submission Win

Joe Kropschot could not have looked much better in his UFC debut.

Early in round two, "The Land Animal" wrapped his opponent Nick Klein up in a slick triangle arm bar. The technique was so tight that Klein barely even struggled, tapping out almost immediately.

"It feels good," Kropschot said in his post-fight interview. "I wanted to draw him into the grappling and tire him out. I'm glad it worked out.

"I'm happy to be here finally."

This successful UFC debut, which is an early frontrunner for a post-fight bonus, brings Kropschot to 10-3 overall. It's too early to say what he can achieve in the Octagon, but the future certainly looks bright.

In defeat, Klein is now winless in three UFC fights, with all of those losses coming inside the distance. Unfortunately, this may have been his last Octagon appearance.

UFC Fight Night: Moicano v Nolan - Weigh-in

The first men's fight of the night will be contested at 185 pounds, with Nick Klein (6-3) taking on Joe Kropschot (9-3).

Klein is a Contender Series grad, having earned a UFC contract with a 37-second submission win. However, he has lost his first two fights in the Octagon, both by stoppage. The latest came the hands of Andrey Pulyaev.

Kropschot also earned his contract on Contender Series, with a decision defeat of Joe Kunneman. He will be making his UFC debut. Let's see what kind of splash he can make.

Rodriguez By Decision

Panama's Piera Rodriguez looked great in her undercard strawweight fight with Talita Alencar, defeating the Brazilian by decision after three rounds.

It's worth noting that she managed to do that in spite of the Apex seemingly losing power in the middle of their fight, which was very suitable for a Halloween card.

That's now four wins in a row for the Panamanian, who sits at 13-2 overall, and 6-2 in the Octagon. If she gets her way, that momentum will lead to a fight with recent strawweight title challenger Gillian Robertson next. That's quite an ambitious callout, but who knows?

In defeat, Alencar falls to 8-2-1. She sees a three-fight streak fall apart.

Strawweights Take the Stage

Up next, we'll head to the strawweight division for clash between Panama's Piera Rodriguez (12-2) and Talita Alencar (8-1-1) of Brazil.

Rodriguez has gone 5-2 since joining the UFC, and has won her last three, all by decision. Her most recent win came against Sam Hughes.

Alencar has a 4-1 UFC record. She's also won her last three. In her last fight, she picked a decision win over Julia Polastri.

Both women have a lot of momentum right now, but something's got to give.

Szabova Mauls Tainara

As the pre-fight odds suggested, Lucia Szabova was simply too much for Tainara Lisboa. The former two-division Oktagon champ was in total control of their flyweight matchup until a finish materialized amid a storm of ground and pound in round three.

That marks a successful UFC debut for the Slovakian fighter. She's now 13-0 overall, and as the commentators stated after her win, an excellent addition to the division.

In defeat, Lisboa falls to 7-5 overall. She's now lost three fights in a row, all by finish.

We Are Live!

UFC Fight Night: Moicano v Nolan - Weigh-in

UFC Fight Night: Moicano vs. Nolan is officially underway.

The first fight of the night will be contested in the women's flyweight division, with Brazilian Tainara Lisboa (7-4) taking on Lucia Szabova (12-0) from Slovakia.

Lisboa got off to a strong start in the UFC, with back to back wins, however, she was finished in her last two fights, most recently against Melissa Croden.

Szabova will be making her UFC debut. The Slovakian is a former two-division Oktagon champ, and has finished nine of her victories—four via strikes and five via submission. In other words, you can see why she is a gargantuan favorite to win this one.
