WWE Raw Live Updates, Results and Highlights From Aug. 17

Reigns pulled Solo's sunglasses off and stomped on them. He asked why Sikoa is even looking him in the eye instead of begging him for forgiveness.

Out of nowhere, Fatu superkicked Solo and put him in the Tongan Death Grip. Reigns said The Usos leveled up and named them captains of The Bloodline. He presented each of them with a black ulafala.

LA Knight's music hit and he came out by himself. He took out both Usos when they tried to come after him. Fatu stood silently in the corner for a moment, but when Knight went to confront Reigns, Fatu took him down.

Reigns called Fatu off from continuing the attack so he could do it himself. He drilled Knight with a Superman Punch and then made Solo watch as The Usos beat on him some more.

He told Sikoa to end Knight and prove himself. He told LA he was sorry and looked like he was about to attack, but then he nailed Reigns with the Samoan Spike instead.

He and Knight took out The Usos together while Fatu stood there and watched. When Reigns tried to Spear Knight, he got caught with the BFT. Solo and LA left the ring as Fatu stood silently in the corner.

Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu came to the ring for the final segment with The Usos bringing Solo Sikoa back into The Bloodline.

He didn't waste any time before saying, "Bring me Solo." The Usos' music hit and they came out looking as happy as can be. Sikoa followed, looking as dejected as one can look.

Roman said the sight of Solo pisses him off, but he's a blessed man and has everything he could ever want. He brought up beating Sikoa in Tribal Combat in the Netflix debut, and then we got a video recapping their feud.

They battled outside the ring and picked up the aggression a bit. Rey went for a springboard, but Gable turned it into a suplex into a bridge for a two-count in one of the more impressive spots of the night.

He started focusing on Rey's ankle to soften him up for a submission. He put Rey in a unique submission that was almost like a reverse Gory special. Rey countered and brought them out of the ring so he could hit a springboard moonsault.

Rey hit a tornado DDT for a near-fall before Gable started to regain his footing. The champion hit a diving headbutt but couldn't get the pin. The ref checked on Rey when it looked like he injured his knee.

He said he could continue and got Gable onto the ropes for the 619, but he countered it. Rey hit a couple of nice high-flying moves that still couldn't finish the match.

Gable hit an Angle Slam from the middle rope, but Rey managed to kick out at two. Gable countered the 619, but Rey hit it on the second attempt. He set Chad up for one more and nailed it before heading to the top rope.

The crowd was going wild as Mysterio jumped right into a pair of knees from Gable. The champion applied the Ankle Lock and wouldn't let go. He ended up turning it into a pin to get the win and retain his title in a fantastic match.

WINNER: CHAD GABLE

Chad Gable put the men's Intercontinental Championship on the line against Rey Mysterio in the next matchup.

They locked up and immediately started trading counters. Neither man could get a clear advantage, so they took a moment to reset before engaging again.

They shook hands and kicked each other in the gut at the same time. Rey hit a headscissor takeover and several punches in the corner. Gable scooped him up and slammed him to get the upper hand.

He turned Rey inside out with an overhead German suplex. They fought on the apron until Mysterio sent Gable into the ring post.

We returned moments before Lee hit a huge dive over the top rope to take Wagner down at ringside. They traded some loud chest chops in the middle of the ring.

Wagner ran Lee over with a running boot for a two-count. The Dragon hit a double stomp in the corner, but it wasn't enough to get the win.

Wagner countered a hurricanrana with a powerbomb and followed with a frog splash for a close two-count.

The Doctor hit a superplex, but Lee was able to recover and hit Operation Dragon for the pin to advance to the next round in the tournament. He will take on Rey Fenix in the next round.

WINNER: DRAGON LEE

El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. backed Dragon Lee to the corner and made a clean break, but they ended up shoving each other before locking up again. Lee was unable to knock Wagner down with a shoulder tackle, but the Doctor took him down easily.

The Dragon hit a quick hurricanrana, but Wagner stayed on him in the corner with chops and punches. He hit a pair of tilt-a-whirl backbreakers before clotheslining Lee over the top rope to the floor.

The Doctor hit a big senton from the apron. When they got back into the ring, Lee started to build momentum with a couple of kicks, but he was quickly stopped by a superkick from Wagner.

Femi did a hilarious impression of Breakker as he taunted him about being the future of WWE instead of him.

The Ruler said he will take on The Badass anywhere, anytime, and Breakker said he was up for it right now. However, Heyman said if he does it, he is done with him.

He told Breakker that they don't just answer to fans, they answer to shareholders, and this match is worth too much to do it in Buffalo on a random Raw.

Heyman said he has already talked to Adam Pearce, and they will face each other on September 6. Breakker looked a little mad when Heyman shook Femi's hand.

After a quick segment with The Usos and Jacob Fatu, The Vision gave an interview backstage saying anyone who steps up to them will get put down. Maxxine Dupri had some mean things to say about Otis and Akira Tozawa.

Bron Breakker said he was going to say something to Oba Femi's face before making his way to the ring. He tried to call out Femi, but Paul Heyman came to the ring.

Before much could be said, The Ruler made his entrance.

We returned to see Valkyria controlling the match. She went to the top rope, but Ruca hit a kick as she jumped off.

Sol began building up a head of steam as she hit a missile dropkick and a running knee for a two-count. Lyra rolled out of the ring to recover. Ruca attempted a moonsault over the top rope, but Valkyria countered with a really nice neckbreaker over the rope.

Lyra kept up the offense, but Ruca countered the Nightwing and hit a tornado DDT. She nailed the Sol Snatcher in the corner to get the win.

WINNER: SOL RUCA

They locked up and Valkyria forced Ruca to the mat before applying a headlock. Sol reversed the hold, but Lyra put her in a headscissors. They kept things technical for a bit with more holds and counters.

Ruca hit a moonsault at ringside, and that seemed to be when both women decided to become more aggressive. Valkyria kicked the ropes out from under Ruca to trip her and then started beating her down as the show went to a break.

After a quick backstage interview with Vaquer and a pre-recorded promo from Lyra Valkyria, Sol Ruca made her way to the ring to take on Lyra in the next match.

We returned to see Fiscal in control. He pressed Fenix above his head and dropped him across the top rope before hitting a clothesline.

Rey started to fight back and hit a great moonsault for a two-count. Fiscal grabbed him for a Tombstone, a move which is banned in Mexico, but Fenix countered.

Rey got him up on his shoulders and hit the Mexican Muscle Buster to get the pin and advance to the next round in the tournament.

WINNER: REY FENIX

The ongoing tournament to crown a No. 1 contender for the world title continued this week with Rey Fenix taking on AAA's El Fiscal, who looks more like a Power Ranger than a luchador.

Fiscal scored the first takedown with a shoulder tackle, but Fenix rebounded and hit a nice dropkick. Fiscal hit a kick followed by a diving crossbody, but he only got a two-count.

Rey hit a springboard cutter, but he couldn't get the pin either. Most of the crowd was having fun with the high-flying action as they climbed to the top rope together.

Fiscal fell to the apron, so Fenix ran across the top rope to hit a kick to the face. He followed up with a crossbody from the top rope to the floor.

McDonagh controlled the pace throughout the commercial break and dished out a lot of punishment to Evans' knee.

Je'Von started to make a comeback, but he was heavily favoring his knee. He hit a big springboard clothesline for a two-count. JD avoided the cutter and hit a huge headbutt followed by a brainbuster for a near-fall.

Evans avoided a moonsault and immediately hit the OG Cutter to score the win. The abrupt start and mid-match commercial couldn't stop this from being a fun encounter. Both men did a good job.

WINNER: JE'VON EVANS

Big Cass came out of nowhere to attack Evans, who had tried to call him out during the break before his match with McDonagh. The big man destroyed The Young OG and left him lying in the ring.

As Cass tried to leave, Evans got a mic and asked if that was all he had. The seven-footer marched his way back to the ring and walked right into a big right hand and a suicide dive.

Mysterio helped Cass by sending Je'Von into the ring post, which cleared the way for Cass to decimate Evans.

During the break, Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh were complaining in the ring, which led to Je'Von Evans getting into a match with JD. That started as soon as the show returned.

Evans sent McDonagh out of the ring, but Dirty Dom tripped him when he attempted a dive. Evans regained the upper hand and clotheslined McDonagh over the barricade into the timekeeper's area.

JD was able to recover and started attacking the legs to ground the high-flyer. WWE aired a picture-in-picture commercial break after just a couple of minutes of wrestling.

Before the break, The Usos and Solo Sikoa were shown backstage. They ran into LA Knight, who looked sad for Solo being forced to return to The Bloodline.

When we went live in the arena, the lights dropped for Stephanie Vaquer's entrance. She looked happy to be back, and she said she is only here for one reason: to get her title back. She called out Liv Morgan, who immediately showed up with Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez.

Morgan said she really doesn't care what Stephanie wants or about any of the champions who came before her. She told Vaquer that as long as she is there, she and Becky will never be the champion again.

Vaquer called her a coward and dared her to get in the ring. Since Liv had backup, she wasn't scared at all. They surrounded Vaquer and took her down after she took the first shot at Liv.

She was able to send Roxy and Raquel out of the ring before focusing on Morgan, but her Judgment Day allies recovered and took the former world champion down. Becky Lynch ran down to make the save.

Lynch and Vaquer ended up getting into an argument that allowed Morgan to take The Man out. Judgment Day ended up standing tall over Stephanie and Becky to end the segment.

WWE Raw is officially live. The show opened with a video recapping Solo Sikoa vs. Jey Uso from last week.
