Williams kicked off the show by telling fans in London that he missed SmackDown last week because he got married to Lash Legend last week in Jamaica.

"There was big booties everywhere," Lil Yachty said while describing the event.

Williams turned the conversation to Ricky Saints and his United States Championship defense against Absolute at Night of Champions.

"This...is the revolution," blared over the sound system, and Saints interrupted the proceedings.

As chants of "who are ya?" rained from the stands, Saints shot back, "I'm your mom's favorite wrestler; your wife's favorite challenger."

The No. 1 contender fired up, told the champion to stop trying to be funny and focus on the wrong things because "reality stands right here before you," claiming he is coming to take the gold on Saturday.

When Yachty took exception to the idea of working for Saints, the heel rocked him with a cheap shot and fled to the ring. When Williams turned his back, the challenger caught him with a mic-assisted one and stood tall to close things out.

A video package kicked off the show, recapping the events of last week's show, where Undisputed WWE champion Cody Rhodes defended against Gunther, with Sami Zayn as the special guest referee.

Controversy reigned supreme, with a match restart, Zayn interference, and the announcement of a Triple Threat Match for the title Saturday at Night of Champions.

Earlier in the day, Zayn, Gunther, and Rhodes arrived at the arena ahead of their final confrontation before the high-stakes battle in Riyadh.

Also earlier, Paige and Brie Bella, and Fatal Influence arrived at the arena ahead of the former and Jacy Jayne's one-on-one showdown.

United States champion Trick Williams entered the O2 to a thunderous pop for the night's opening promo segment.
