AEW Dynamite Live Updates, Results and Highlights From June 10

MJF was shown giving Callis a briefcase full of cash to get a team together for Forbidden Door. Knight volunteered to be on his team if he got a world title shot after the PPV. Back in the arena, Strickland made his entrance for the main event.

The crowd was chanting "F--k ICE" as King and Swerve locked up and started fighting. King took control early and pulled Strickland out of the ring with a sleeper hold, but Swerve rammed him into the top rope to break the hold.

King sent him off the ramp and hit a senton to take him down. Prince Nana blocked a running attack and allowed Swerve to gain the upper hand. He put King in a chair next to the ring and hit a double stomp to the chest.

We returned to see both men fighting on the top rope in the corner. King pulled off the turnbuckle cover while trying to avoid a powerbomb, so Swerve climbed back up and hit a side Russian leg sweep to take him down.

King popped Strickland up into the air, and he turned it into a double stomp. They took the fight out of the ring again and Brody slammed Swerve onto the announce table, which started a "This is awesome" chant.

Both men looked worn out as they met in the middle of the ring to trade shots. They had a great exchange that saw both guys hit some big moves.

King's head ended up being sent into the exposed turnbuckle, which left him bleeding like a faucet. Swerve hit the House Call, but King didn't go down, so he climbed to the top rope and hit a second one, but he still couldn't keep him down for the three-count.

Brody started to recover and slammed Strickland into the corner. Nana distracted him for a moment, but it didn't stop him from hitting a cannonball and a piledriver for a near-fall.

Nana took a cheap shot behind the ref's back, and it allowed Swerve to hit his finisher for the pin and the win to advance in the tournament. This was a really great match.

WINNER: SWERVE STRICKLAND

The finals for the men's Owen are now official. Swerve will battle Ospreay at Forbidden Door to see which man will earn a guaranteed title shot.

Dynamite ended with Swerve posing on the stage.

Zack Sabre Jr. issued a challenge to Kenny Omega for Forbidden Door through a video package. The announcers reported that Omega has accepted the challenge and confirmed the match for the PPV in a few weeks.

They also confirmed Bad Dude Tito from NJPW would take on Omega on Collision this week.

Sareee was not medically cleared to compete, so Maya World took her place against Skye Blue in this opening round match of the Owen Hart Tournament. Renee Paquette filled us in that Maya recently lost her brother, who was a huge wrestling fan.

Skye went right after her and took her down as soon as the match started. Maya got up and fought back with some right hands.

Maya hit a leg lariat and ran Blue's head into the middle turnbuckle, but it didn't keep her down for long. Blue took her down again and stayed on her with kicks in the corner.

Blue got confident and started talking some trash. Maya fought out of a fireman's carry, but Blue hit a neckbreaker on the ramp as the show went to a break.

We returned to see Maya starting to mount some offense. She countered a pin and hit a double stomp as the crowd was chanting her name.

They went back and forth and made the second half much more competitive than the first. The crowd that started quietly woke up and started cheering for their efforts.

Blue nailed two superkicks in a row before hitting a cutter-life move for a close two-count. Skye got angry, but she failed to hit the Code Blue. Maya countered into a pinning combination and got the win.

WINNER: MAYA WORLD

We got a brief moment backstage from last week's show with Will Ospreay comforting Alex Windsor following her loss to Mercedes. We then got a brief video about Thekla's growing feud against the STARDOM promotion.

Moxley gave a quick promo from backstage directed at STP. He could barely speak, so Shafir and Garcia took over. Garcia challenged them to a five-on-five street fight for Collision.

Don Callis joined the commentary team to watch El Idolo take on Cassidy, who was already in the ring after saving Briscoe a few moments earlier.

Andrade applied a hammerlock to kickstart a fast-paced exchange of holds, takedowns and counters. El Idolo did his pose while lying on the middle rope, but he jumped off to stop OC from putting his hands in his pockets.

Andrade took his pants off, which got a huge pop from the crowd. Cassidy then took off his pants to reveal an identical pair of pants underneath, which got an even bigger pop and a "Holy s--t" chant from the crowd.

We returned to see OC slamming El Idolo's had into the top turnbuckle a few times as he ran him from corner to corner. He climbed to the top rope and hit a flowing elbow, but Andrade countered his attempt at a DDT into the Three Amigos.

Cassidy turned the third suplex into a Stundog Millionaire. He went for a diving DDT out of the ring, but Andrade caught him and hit a suplex in an impressive show of power.

Callis posed for a pic with a fan, and then Lio Rush showed up and took the phone from the woman. Cassidy nervously posed for a selfie with Rush before El Idolo smashed him with a running forearm. He and Rush had a weird exchange where they yelled their catchphrases at each other until OC hit a tilt-a-whirl DDT.

Cassidy reversed a powerbomb into a hurricanrana for a two-count. They started trading strikes from their knees, but OC was doing his lazy strikes, which made Andrade laugh.

Cassidy began to build up a head of steam and hit a DDT on the ramp before hitting another in the ring for a close two-count. Callis looked nervous as he watched OC line up for the Orange Punch.

Andrade leveled him with a spinning elbow before hitting his finisher for a clean win.

WINNER: ANDRADE EL IDOLO

The IWGP global champion grabbed a mic and asked the crowd "How you know?" It was a funny catchphrase when he used it randomly to upset people he was talking to, but just saying it for no reason makes no sense.

MJF made everyone wait through the commercial break while his music played. When the show returned, he appeared in the crowd to address Briscoe. He said he is not going to give Briscoe a title match.

He claimed he was protecting the world title from someone like Briscoe, who would bring shame to the belt. He called The Comglomeration a liability and said money is the most important thing in the world.

Jay Lethal, Blake Christian and Lee Johnson attacked Briscoe because MJF paid them to, but Briscoe turned the tables on them and almost got the better of them before the numbers game caught up to him.

Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong and Tomohiro Ishii came out to run them off and save their friend. Briscoe said MJF is not the boss, but Tony Khan is, and he booked a six-on-six cage match for Forbidden Door. If Briscoe's team wins, he gets a title shot.

El Idolo made his entrance for the next match, and he stared down MJF before heading to the ring.

The next matchup featured two men who couldn't be more different, with The Death Rider's Pac taking on The Conglomeration's Mark Briscoe.

They locked up and wrestled to the corner, but surprisingly, Pac made a clean break, which earned a golf clap from the crowd. They continued to keep the fight clean and traded submissions and counters for a bit.

Briscoe knocked him down with a shoulder tackle, but Pac kipped up and got right in his face. That is when they started trading strikes. The Chicken hit a series of stiff chops before Pac kicked him off the apron. Briscoe turned the tables on him and hit a kick through the ropes, followed by a bodyslam on the floor.

He hit an elbow drop from the apron, but a moment later, Pac hit a brainbuster onto a steel chair that completely changed the pace of the match.

The Chicken began making a comeback when we returned from a break. He yanked Pac off the top rope by both of his arms, but it only got him a two-count.

They exchanged punches and kicks in the middle of the ring. Briscoe had the upper hand until The Bastard hit a German suplex to dump him on his head. Briscoe recovered and hit a blockbuster from the apron to the floor.

Pac countered the Froggy Bow with his knees and sent Mark into the corner with a belly-to-belly suplex. He climbed to the top rope and tried for a shooting star press, but Briscoe got his knees up at the last second. He followed up with a Jay Driller to get the pin.

WINNER: MARK BRISCOE

Briscoe grabbed a mic and called out MJF, whose music hit just as the show was going to a commercial.

A short video aired to hype Mercedes Mone vs. Hazuki in the semifinals of the Owen Hart Tournament. Callis then came out on the stage and said he had an important announcement. He brought out Knight to join him.

Knight gave a promo touting his success since coming to AEW, and he called himself Don's best asset. He called out MJF, but Darby Allin showed up instead. He hit Knight with his skateboard and said he hoped New York was worth it before running away from the rest of the Callis Family.

Before The Jet gets his world title shot, it looks like he is going to have to fend off Allin possibly trying to take the TNT title from him.

Marina Shafir and the Death Riders were not allowed to accompany Mox to the ring due to the rules of the continental title, but that means Taylor didn't have anyone from STP in his corner either.

Taylor had a significant size and power advantage, and he used it to back Moxley to the corner right away. The champion used a couple of holds, but Taylor backed him to the corner again to escape.

They came nose to nose before they started trading shots. Moxley sent Taylor out of the ring and hit a suicide dive to take him down, but it didn't keep him down for long. He quickly recovered and threw Mox into the timekeeper's area.

He ended up putting Moxley through the timekeeper's table as the show cut to a break. We returned to see Taylor dominating the action.

Moxley defiantly hit him in the face, which angered the big man. The champion started building some momentum, and after hitting a few big shots, he finally took Taylor off his feet. He gouged the challenger's eyes and even bit his forehead as he beat on him in the corner.

Taylor hit a splash from the middle rope for a two-count right as Justin Roberts announced that half of the 20-minute time limit had elapsed.

The crowd was chanting Moxley's name as he started to make a comeback. He picked the ankle and applied an Ankle Lock, but Taylor kicked him away. Moxley ran back and hit a Stomp before applying the Bulldog Choke for the win.

WINNER: JON MOXLEY

This was a fun brawl between two great fighters. Taylor nailed Moxley with a huge right hand after the match was over. Carlie Bravo gave him a belt to use as a whip. Daniel Garcia tried to come help, but Bravo and Shawn Dean took him out.

Trish Adora took out Shafir with a kendo stick while Taylor kept beating on Moxley in the ring. STP ended the segment standing tall on the stage.

Andrade ran into Kevin Knight and Don Callis backstage while they were being interviewed by Renee Paquette. He told Knight to get to the back of the line when it comes to world title shots.

Don promised Andrade he would get his title shot before walking off with Knight. Back in the arena, Moxley went to the ring to defend his continental title against Taylor.

Ciampa interrupted Schiavone as he was about to ask a question, and he forced him to repeat what he said on Collision about Ciampa being better than Chris Jericho. Tony refused because Ciampa threatened to break a man's back.

Ciampa backed him to the corner and threatened to break his back instead if he didn't say it. Schiavone was in the middle of saying it when Jericho's music hit. The Psycho Killer was not happy that the crowd was singing along to his entrance song.

Jericho made a joke about wanting to fight someone who has hair, which got a "Bald" chant started. Y2J said they should start over and introduced himself, but Ciampa said he knows exactly who he is, and Jericho knows who he is, too.

In a funny moment, Jericho called him Tommy and got the crowd to chant the name, which infuriated Ciampa even more. Jericho asked why he hates him so much, and Tommy said Jericho treats everything as a joke.

Y2J got in his face and said he is taking this very seriously. They started brawling and several members of security and a few refs tried to break it up. They broke free and kept fighting a few times before they were finally separated.

This was an energetic way to open the show and a good way to hype their feud. Ciampa is such an intense performer.

AEW's Summer Blockbuster opened up with Excalibur excitedly welcoming us to the show. Tony Schiavone was in the ring to interview Tomasso Ciampa. As usual, Ciampa's entrance received a great reaction from the crowd.

Skye Blue was originally set to face Sareee in the Owen Hart Tournament, but due to unforeseen circumstances, Sareee has been replaced by Maya World ahead of tonight's show.
