That's All for WrestleMania
The show ends with a bloody Reigns being attended to by medics in the ring. WWE threw us some curveballs tonight for sure.
Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns (Universal Championship) Part 5
Brock hits a fifth F5, but Reigns kicks out again. Lesnar takes off his gloves and gets on top of Reigns to deliver a series of stiff shots to the head. The crowd chants "This is awful" as Reigns is shown to be busted wide open and bleeding profusely. Lesnar picks him up for one more F5, but Reigns counters and hits two Spears in a row for a very close two count. Reigns is a bloody mess as he gets to his feet. He runs right into another F5 to give Lesnar the pin and the win. The Beast retains, which means WWE must have offered him a truckload of money to sign a new deal.
Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns (Universal Championship) Part 4
Lesnar hits another F5, but he still can't keep Roman down for the three count. Heyman tells his client to put Reigns down for good. He hits a third F5, but Reigns finds a way to kick out again. They have to censor Brock's reaction. The Beast takes his challenger out of the ring and puts him through a table with another F5. He drags Reigns back to the ring by his vest. He picks up Roman for another German suplex as he circles his prey.
Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns (Universal Championship) Part 3
Reigns Spears Brock onto and over the announce table. They screw up something with the headsets and the whole arena can hear Cole for a second. They get back in the ring where Reigns hits a Superman Punch and a Spear. He nails the second Spear, but only gets a two count. Lesnar blocks a Superman Punch with a flying knee for his own near fall. Brock looks worn out as he lifts Reigns up for the F5. He only gets a two count.
Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns (Universal Championship) Part 2
Lesnar throws Reigns with a belly to belly suplex on the floor to put himself back in the driver's seat. He tries to do another one onto the announce table, but he botches it and Reigns goes into the table face first for what could have been a nasty accident. The Beast hits another two German suplexes and a belly to belly. The champ takes one of the announce tables apart and drags Reigns over to it. First, he throws Roman into the barricade for good measure. The Big Dog shoves him into the ring post to buy some time.
Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns (Universal Championship) Part 1
As usual, Paul Heyman insists on doing Lesnar's intro himself. The bell rings and Brock picks up Roman to put him in the corner. Reigns fires off a few rights to the head before Lesnar takes him to Suplex City with a trio of German suplexes. Roman pops up with a pair of Superman Punches to knock him out of the ring. He hits a third off the steel steps before rolling Brock back in the ring. Then he immediately clotheslines him back out.
The Bar vs. Braun Strowman and Nicholas (Raw Tag Team Championships) Part 2
Braun launches Sheamus over the top rope and he hits the post on the way down. Nicholas asks for the tag and Braun actually tags him into the match. Cesaro sees him and he tags Braun right back in to hit a powerslam for the pin and the win. Braun and Nicholas are the new tag team champions. This is actually happening. What a lucky kid.
The Bar vs. Braun Strowman and Nicholas (Raw Tag Team Championships) Part 1
Strowman picks a kid in the crowd and brings him to the ring to be his partner. He tells Nicholas to stand on the apron and he will do the rest. The bell rings and Braun takes control of Sheamus. Cesaro makes a blind tag and gets in a few uppercuts before Strowman flattens him with a chokeslam. The Celtic Warrior breaks up the pin. The Bar takes control with some double team moves.
And the Mystery Man Is...
Braun comes out and pushes one of the floats off the stage before heading to the ring. Strowman reveals his partner is going to be someone from the crowd and asks who wants to be his partner. Everyone raises their hand. The Monster Among Men walks around the ring looking for the right person.
Who Did Braun Strowman Pick as His Partner?
Sheamus and Cesaro come out on Mardi Gras floats for their entrance, but they probably won't be laughing and singing for long.
A Sore Loser
After they hug it out, Nakamura attacks Styles and viciously beats him into the mat. The Rock Star just turned heel in front of our eyes. He hits the Kinshasa to AJ at ringside as the crowd watches not knowing how to react.
That Was Awesome
AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura (WWE Championship) Part 6
Shinsuke hit the reverse exploder to set up for the Kinshasa. AJ rolls through and picks him up for a Styles Clash to get the pin and the win. That outcome likely surprised a lot of people.
AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura (WWE Championship) Part 5
Nakamura goes for a running knee in the corner and AJ avoids it so his bad leg hits the turnbuckle. Styles sticks him with a Phenomenal Forearm, but Nakamura kicks out at two. Shin gets his knees up to block a springboard 450 and almost gets a three count. They both get up and start trading punches back and forth. AJ hits a Pele kick, but Nakamura doesn't go down and immediately nails AJ in the back of the head with a running knee for a near fall.
AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura (WWE Championship) Part 4
Shinsuke tries to hit a superplex, but AJ slips through his legs and kicks him in the knee to take him down. Styles gets him in the Calf Crusher in the center of the ring. The challenger claws his way to the ropes, but AJ rolls him back to the middle. Nakamura suddenly turns the hold into a triangle choke. The Phenomenal One lifts him off the mat after a few moments and plants him with a brainbuster-like move. Both men are slow to get up.
AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura (WWE Championship) Part 3
Nakamura taunts Styles before unleashing his favorite sequence of strikes. He lays AJ on the top rope for a running knee to the gut for a two count. Styles hits a seated facebuster out of nowhere to give himself some breathing room. The champ starts building momentum with a low flying forearm for another near fall. He hits a pump handle gutbuster for a two count. He sets up for the Styles Clash, but Nakamura counters. AJ nails him with a right hand, but Nakamura catches him in the middle of a springboard with a landslide slam for the closest two count yet.
AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura (WWE Championship) Part 2
Styles hits a snap suplex for a quick one count. Nakamura counters the second suplex and backs AJ to the corner to deliver some stiff forearms to the head. The Prince of Phenomenal hits a backbreaker to slow his momentum. A few measured kicks to the back of Nakamura give Styles the advantage. Styles applies a rear chinlock to wear down his opponent. AJ nails his signature dropkick to send Nakamura out of the ring to regroup. Styles tries to follow him and gets his feet kicked out from underneath him on the apron.
AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura (WWE Championship) Part 1
They lock up and quickly break. They lock up again and struggle for control all around the ring until the ref makes them break in the corner. AJ catches a kick and takes Shin down in a waistlock. Nakamura does his relaxation taunt, so Styles slaps him in the face. Shinsuke nails him with a kick to the face for a two count. He drops a knee on the face of Styles before cornering him for a few more knees to the body. Styles hits his own knee to the face and drops the challenger.
A True Rock Star with WWE's Rock Star
Nita Strauss appears on the stage to play a guitar solo for Shinsuke Nakamura's intro. Then the lights come on and several young violin players are lining the ramp and a full band plays on the stage.
Nita Strauss @hurricanenita
I guess the secret is out!!! Crazy to think that I took this picture months ago when @thejoshv and I went to Smackdown... and now here we are in New Orleans and tonight I get to play on the grandest stage of them all. Living proof that pointing at the sign works!!! https://t.co/r7VRrQ21iG
Nia Is Our Champ
Alexa Bliss vs. Nia Jax (Raw Women's Championship) Part 3
The Goddess sends Nia's face into the middle turnbuckle with a dropkick. She laughs in Jax's face before hitting a DDT for a close two count. Jax scoops up Bliss and slams her to the mat as she starts to make her comeback. She throws Alexa from corner to corner like a rag doll. Bliss decks her straight in the face and then tries to hit a hurricanrana from the top rope. Jax counters with pure power and whips the back of Alexa's head into the turnbuckle in a violent spot. The champ pokes her in the eye again, but Nia picks her up and slams her down hard. She picks up Bliss and climbs up to the middle turnbuckle to deliver a super Samoan drop for the pin and the win. Nia Jax has finally won the Women's Championship. That was another match that exceeded expectations.
Alexa Bliss vs. Nia Jax (Raw Women's Championship) Part 2
Alexa tries to grab her title and run away, but Nia catches her and brings her back to the ring. Bliss jams her thumb into Jax's eye to blind her. It works and she is able to drive both of her knees into the back of Jax's leg to take her down. The champion locks in a guillotine, but Nia powers out of it with a suplex. Jax runs her own shoulder into the post when Bliss moves out of the way and the ref begins to count her out. Alexa climbs to the top turnbuckle and hits Twisted Bliss all the way down to the floor.
Alexa Bliss vs. Nia Jax (Raw Women's Championship) Part 1
Nia Jax runs over Mickie James and drags her out of the ring. She throws James all over the place to injure her so she is not a threat during the match. Bliss tries a sneak attack, but it just angers Jax even more. She grabs Mickie and hits a Samoan drop on the floor. Jax grabs Alexa after the bell rings and throws her across the ring by her hair a few times. The Goddess sells everything like a pro. Nia presses Bliss above her head and throws her down to the mat.
Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan vs. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn Part 5
Bryan lights up Zayn with several punches before he gets him down into position for the Yes Kicks. He levels Sami with the final kick and sits down in the corner to line up for his finisher. He hits the running knee and puts on the Yes Lock to get the submission win. This means Owens and Zayn do not get their jobs back, so they will probably show up on Raw tomorrow. That was a fun match and a satisfying return for Bryan.
Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan vs. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn Part 4
Bryan goes to work on Zayn with a series of signature moves. He takes out Owens with a flying knee off the apron before hitting Zayn with a dropkick from the top rope. The Yes Man gets both men in opposite corners and runs between them hitting dropkicks. Bryan takes out Sami with a top rope hurricanrana and lines up for his signature flying knee. Owens grabs his leg and Zayn sticks him with a Helluva Kick for a close two count. KO gets the tag and superkicks Shane off the apron into the barricade. He runs into a boot from Bryan, but then he hits the Popup Powerbomb for another near fall. Shane low-bridges Owens out of the ring, but Sami is the legal man against Bryan.
Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan vs. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn Part 3
Shane climbs to the top rope and hits Zayn with the coast to coast dropkick, but he appears to suffer just as much damage. Owens hits a frog splash, but Bryan comes out of nowhere and breaks up the pin. The crowd explodes in Yes chants. Shane avoids a cannonball, but Zayn cuts him off before he can tag Bryan. McMahon picks up Zayn for a side suplex and Bryan begs for the tag. Shane gets to him and Bryan is finally the legal man.
Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan vs. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn Part 2
Zayn gets a quick two count after running Shane over with a forearm to the face. The SmackDown commissioner takes a lot of punishment from Owens and Zayn, all while they berate him verbally. They take advantage of the two on one advantage as much as possible. Every time McMahon tries to put together some offense, Owens or Zayn knocks him back down. Sami gets a two count with a Blue Thunderbomb, but he is still smiling from ear to ear. Shane avoids the Helluva Kick and puts him in the tree of woe.
Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan vs. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn Part 1
Shane looks ready to fight while a doctor checks on Bryan. He tells the ref to ring the bell and wants to do the match on his own. He knocks Zayn off the apron before unloading on Owens with punches to the head. He fights off both opponents for a minute, but a kick to the gut from KO puts him down. Shane is favoring his stomach after the issues he has had recently, but he has no partner to tag right now.
