Tag Team Battle Royal Part 3
The Revival gets eliminated by Dallas and Axel. The Monster Among Men runs back into the ring and throws Titus over the top rope. Gallows hits him with a few superkicks, but Strowman clotheslines him out of the ring. The big man throws Axel and Dallas over the top rope to leave himself and Anderson as the last men in the match. Karl hits a few kicks to the face before Braun pitches him over the top rope onto everyone at ringside. Braun is declared the winner of the match, which means he now has a tag title shot against The Bar at WrestleMania.
Tag Team Battle Royal Part 2
We return to see Strowman still fighting off everyone. Gallows superkicks him, but he tumbles through the ropes, not over them. Several Superstars grab him and drive him into the steel steps. Dash and Dawson pick the steps up and use them as a weapon several times before Braun finally goes down. Back in the ring, Titus lays waste to everyone who gets back in the ring with kicks and throws.
Tag Team Battle Royal Part 1
As the Battle Royal is about to begin, Braun Strowman comes down and gets in the ring. It looks like he wants to be considered as a solo tag team performer and earn a title shot on his own. As soon as the bell rings, Braun rushes Apollo and clotheslines him out of the ring. Everyone starts fighting while Strowman chases Slater around the ring after both men rolled under the bottom rope. Heath gets dumped out of the ring and everyone looks at Strowman. They all attack him at once in an attempt to eliminate him from the match. The Revival eliminates Rhyno during the commotion. O'Neil ends up alone in the ring with Braun after everyone else rolls out of the ring. He ends up joining everyone else at ringside to formulate a plan as we head to a break.
It All Goes Down Next Week
Wyatt made a few vague threats against Matt's family. Angle is shown talking to a ref backstage about being the ref for the Ultimate Deletion match next week. The ref asks if he did something wrong but Angle assures him he just needs someone to keep control of the situation.
Will Hardy Be Able to Delete Wyatt from This Plane of Existence?
WWE plays a video preview for The Ultimate Deletion. We get a view of all the major staples of the original broken gimmick, including Senior Benjamin and the rest of the family. After the video, Wyatt delivers a promo from a smoky room.
The Irresistable Force
Charly walks in and tells Bliss that the mic and camera for their interview has been on the whole time and everyone heard what she said about Nia. We see Jax running toward the backstage area and Alexa is shown freaking out. She and James run out of the room as fast as they can. They escape seconds before Jax comes in and starts tearing the place apart.
Bliss Just Signed Her Own Death Warrant
For some reason, footage of James and Bliss talking trash about Jax backstage is shown on the big screen after the match. The mock Nia's weight and Bliss says uses her because she is a vulnerable human being. It's not quite hidden camera footage, but it's not shot like a normal segment.
Nia Jax vs. Joan King
Jax is paired up with another jobber this week. She immediately crushes the poor girl in the corner and throws her across the ring. She drives an elbow into King's body before dropping her with a Samoan drop for the easy win.
Friends Again...For Now
Bliss is shown asking Jax where she was and claims she set up Asuka to get beaten up as a gift for her. She claims to love Jax, but she keeps saying passive-aggressive things to make it clear she only looks out for herself. Nia agrees to be in Alexa's corner next week.
Asuka vs. Mickie James
We return to see the match already in progress. James stomps Asuka in the corner to score a near fall. The Empress of Tomorrow hits a flying hip strike to take Mickie down. James rolls out of the ring to regroup with Bliss, but Asuka follows her and nails her with a running kick on the apron. She prevents Mickie from escaping through the crowd and throws her into the ring post. James moves and Asuka ends up kicking the ring post hard. She beats the count back into the ring and Mickie gets right on her injured leg. James goes for the MickDT, but she gets brought down into a submission. She rolls over into a pin and Asuka is forced to kick out. The No. 1 contender starts to recover, but one shot to the bad leg takes her down. James ends up hitting Asuka with a huge sunset flip powerbomb for a pair of very close two counts. Asuka ducks the Mick Kick and puts her in the Asukalock for the submission win. That was a good match for only being one segment long.
What Is Happening?
Asuka challenges Bliss to face her right now. Alexa stumbles over her words a little when she responds. She tries to call out someone to face Asuka, but she is nowhere to be seen. Alexa shoves Asuka and James lays her out with a running forearm. That was a really awkward segment. It seemed like they were trying to say Nia Jax bailed on Bliss, but nobody knew that because nobody said her name out loud.
Bliss Thinks She Is Ready for Asuka
Before Asuka can say anything, Alexa Bliss and Mickie James come down to the ring. Bliss says Asuka is a great competitor and very smart. She puts over her undefeated streak, but James questions how she has remained undefeated for so long. Bliss says Asuka is afraid to step in the ring with someone like her and applauds her decision to choose the champion of the B-show. Asuka paraphrases Ric Flair and says to be the woman, she has to beat the woman, and that is Charlotte.
The Empress of Tomorrow
Asuka is out after the break to explain why she chose to challenge Charlotte for the SD women's title at WrestleMania during an interview with Charly Caruso.
WWE announces the first Fabulous Moolah Memorial Battle Royal for the women's division at WrestleMania during the video package.
The Miz's Plan Is Working
Rollins leaves the ring looking upset while Balor smiles at him. Cole throws to a special tribute to Fabulous Moolah.
Finn Balor vs. Seth Rollins Part 2
We return to see Rollins keeping Balor grounded with a chinlock. He brings Finn to the apron and nails him in the side of the head with a running knee for a near fall. Balor starts to make a comeback after dodging a springboard knee. He takes Seth down with a series of clotheslines and stiff chops in the corner. Balor kicks Rollins off the top rope to score a quick two count. The Architect counters the 1916, but Finn also counters the Revolution Knee. Both men take each other out with kicks to the head after an even exchange of strikes. Balor dodges the Stomp and hits a jumping double stomp followed by a sling blade. He lines up for the running dropkick, but he ends up eating a superkick. Balor hits a kick from the apron and climbs to the top rope. Rollins pops up and hits a superplex, but when he tries to roll through for the falcon arrows, Balor holds onto him to get the pin and the win.
Finn Balor vs. Seth Rollins Part 1
They keep things simple with some basic chain wrestling for the first few minutes. Balor takes the first real shot with a right to the face, but Rollins quickly takes control and starts unleashing his own strikes. The Kingslayer takes a low dropkick to the face and gets thrown out of the ring. Finn knocks him off the apron into the barricade with a dropkick before leveling him with a running kick on the apron.
Contenders Meet Before Mania
Rollins is out first for his match against Balor. This should be good.
Another Mania Match to Be Made
Sheamus and Cesaro are shown asking to be traded to SmackDown because they are sick of the tag team division on Raw. Angle books a tag team Battle Royal for tonight with the winners earning a title shot at Mania. Then Cole throws to a recap of last week's Symphony of Destruction match. How about WWE puts on some more matches tonight instead of recapping last week?
The Challenge Has Been Made
Cena says he would want one more match if he was in Taker's position before dropping the mic and walking away. That was a good promo. Cena and Reigns both delivered in different ways tonight.
Bold Words to Say to the Deadman
Cena says the only thing standing between him and a match with The Undertaker is The Undertaker himself. He tells Taker to get over his own ego and stop hiding behind his lame excuses. He says Taker is not old, washed up or broken down or he wouldn't be posting workout videos on his wife's Instagram. He calls Taker a self-centered, conceited egomaniac. He asks if the crowd wants to see Taker kick his butt at Mania and everyone cheers. Well, that's one way to get the response he wanted.
It Was Inevitable
Cena goes out into the crowd and takes a sip of some guy's beer. He gets a This is Awesome chant going, but the crowd boos when he tries to make them chant Let's Go Roman. Cena says he could just do the thing he wasn't supposed to do in the ring right now. He says "Screw it. I challenge The Undertaker to a match at WrestleMania." The crowd explodes into Yes chants.
He's Just Like the Rest of Us
Cena says he tried to earn a spot at WrestleMania on both brands and couldn't get the job done. He only blames himself and offers no excuses. The crowd starts chanting Undertaker's name and Cena says he hopes those backstage are listening. Cena says he is here to let everyone know he won't be contributing to WrestleMania this year. This gets a half and half response from the crowd. Cena says he will not be attending WrestleMania as a fan.
No Undertaker. No Title Shot. What Can Cena Do Now?
John Cena is out after the break to talk about his path to WrestleMania. He seems to be in good spirits despite losing last night at Fastlane. He says he has found his road to WrestleMania after all these weeks.
But Who Gets the Title Shot?
The Revival eventually join Dallas and Axel. This leads to every team in the division coming out and attacking the champs. It looks like everyone wants a shot at the gold at WrestleMania. This may turn into a Tag Team Turmoil match or Battle Royal or some kind.
Can Anyone Else Raise the Bar?
The Bar is out after the break. They are standing in the corner posing when Dallas and Axel attack them from behind.
Tensions Are Running High
Balor and Rollins have an argument and almost come to blows. They both see The Miz standing there with a huge smile on his face and they decide to attack him instead. After Miz is driven out of the ring, Rollins belts Balor in the face and walks away.
Three Former World Champions Fighting for the IC Title
Miz says he thinks it should be just him and Rollins at WrestleMania because they are the workhorses of WWE and Balor doesn't have their same level of accomplishments. Miz calls Balor "The Man...in bingo halls." He warns Finn not to trust Seth because he has a history of turning his back on his friends.
Will Rollins Burn Down Miz's Hopes and Dreams?
Miz says Axel and Dallas have a shot to make it on the WrestleMania card later, so they aren't out with him tonight. He talks about his title match at WrestleMania and how he is on the verge of breaking the record for longest IC title reign. Seth Rollins is brought out as his first guest.
The A-Lister Talks WrestleMania
The Miz is in the ring when we return for another episode of MizTV.
Bayley Doesn't Overstay Her Welcome
Bayley left the ringside area too soon and Absolution surrounds Banks for a beatdown. Paige, Rose and Deville stand tall over Banks to end the segment. Michael Cole throws to a video announcing Kid Rock for the Hall of Fame.
Sasha Banks vs. Sonya Deville Part 2
We return to see Sonya holding Banks down with a body scissors submission. She drops Banks with a backbreaker for a quick two count before putting her in the corner for a series of strikes. The Boss tries to fight back, but a roundhouse to the body takes her down. The MMA fighter wraps Banks up in another submission, but Banks shows some power by standing up with Sonya on her back and ramming her into the corner. Deville nails her with a kick and a running knee to the face for a two count. Banks takes control and hits a flying double knee for a two count. Bayley prevents Mandy from interfering, allowing Sasha to lock in the Bank Statement for the win. Instead of celebrating with her friend, Bayley walks right up the ramp to the back.
Sasha Banks vs. Sonya Deville Part 1
Bayley accompanies Sasha to the ring, but she doesn't look thrilled to be there. Banks and Deville are aggressive right from the opening bell. The Boss gets a two count with a sunset flip and another after a pair of dropkicks. She throws Sonya out of the ring as we head to a break.
WWE pays tribute to The Fabulous Moolah
Can Elias Even Walk with Elias?
Elias is in the ring after the video wearing a neck brace. He doesn't ask if we want to walk with him, skips his song and leaves the ring after saying "This is your fault." We see Braun Strowman backstage and he brags about dropping a piano on Elias last week and asks why he doesn't have a match at WrestleMania yet. He says he will carve a path of destruction until he gets a match.
