Morton Lights-Out in the Eighth
It looks like Morton may go the distance, and you can't really blame A.J. Hinch. Morton's gone three innings and looked stellar in each one.

Can the Astros Get Some More Insurance?
Houston hasn't been able to get anything since Darvish was pulled. Its pitching has been more than up to the task tonight, but a few insurance runs would be nice. Easier said than done against Jansen. Astros 5, Dodgers 1 - Top of the seventh
Big Hit from the Vet
Andre Ethier drives in L.A.'s only run, only to have Taylor strike out and Seager ground out behind him. The Dodgers have now stranded 10 runners in six innings. Astros 5, Dodgers 1 - Top of the seventh
Ethier in with One Out and Two on
Brilliant relief effort from Kershaw. He's done now. Andre Ethier up to pinch hit. Astros 5, Dodgers 0 - Bottom of the sixth
ANOTHER Chance for the Dodgers
L.A.'s already left eight men on base tonight. Can the Dodgers finally cash in? Astros 5, Dodgers 0 - Bottom of the sixth
Another Scoreless Half-Inning for Kershaw
That's four scoreless innings for Kershaw. That one took a little more work, though. He gave up a hit, intentionally walked two and eventually ended the inning by forcing a flyout from Cameron Maybin. Astros 5, Dodgers 0 - Bottom of the sixth
This Is Gonna Haunt Some Guys If Houston Wins
Astros 5, Dodgers 0 - Top of the sixth
Another Opportunity Squandered?
Puig's now up to face Chris Devenski. The Dodgers have already blown several opportunities at the plate tonight. Astros 5, Dodgers 0 - Bottom of the fifth
Another Chance with the Dodgers
L.A. has already left several runners in scoring position stranded. Bellinger, who's currently tied with Aaron Judge for the record for most strikeouts in a seven-game series, is up with two on and one out. Astros 5, Dodgers 0 - Bottom of the fifth
Long At-Bat for Turner
Justin Turner is battling Peacock. This might be the last guy he faces. Astros 5, Dodgers 0 - Bottom of the fifth
Nothing Doing for the Dodgers
L.A. just cannot wake up its bats. Turner has another chance here, though. Following a walk to Seager, Turner's up with one on and one out. He was hit by a pitch in each of his first two at-bats tonight. Astros 5, Dodgers 0 - Bottom of the fifth
Three Masterful Innings from Kershaw
Kershaw has allowed just one baserunner in three relief innings. The Dodgers need to give him some support. Astros 5, Dodgers 0 - Bottom of the fifth
Assuming the Lead Holds, This Is a Given
Astros 5, Dodgers 0 - Top of the fifth
Kershaw Back Out for the Fifth
Another scoreless frame for the Dodgers. This one ends with Kershaw striking out. He's back on the mound for his third inning of the night. Houston hasn't gotten anything going against him, but the Dodgers aren't taking advantage at the plate. Astros 5, Dodgers 0 - Top of the fifth
On to the Bottom of the Fourth
The Astros are giving their fans in Houston plenty to cheer for, but Kershaw has stemmed the offensive tide for now. Can the Dodgers finally strike back in the fourth? Astros 5, Dodgers 0 - Bottom of the fourth
Dodgers Have Had Their Chances
Astros 5, Dodgers 0 - Top of the fourth
A LOOONG Out
It looked like Puig got all of that one. He even thought so. But it really hung up in there. Runners on the corners now for Pederson with two down. Astros 5, Dodgers 0 - Bottom of the third
And It Didn't Even Take Him Three Innings
So, apparently, Kike Hernandez' walk was actually an HBP too. Was grazed on a 3-1 pitch. McCullers was wild all night, and now he's gone. Brad Peacock coming on for the Astros.
Astros 5, Dodgers 0 - Bottom of the third
Turner Plunked Again
Turner's been up twice. He's been hit twice. McCullers has been wild. Pretty fortunate he's yet to surrender a run. Two on with no outs now, though. Bellinger at the dish. Astros 5, Dodgers 0 - Bottom of the third
Three Up, Three Down
Kershaw got two quick flyouts, then struck out Gurriel. The Dodgers need any kind of momentum now, and Kershaw may have given them a little bit. They desperately need some offense now. Astros 5, Dodgers 0 - Bottom of the third
Here Comes Kershaw
The Dodgers' ace is coming on for the third inning with his team down five. Huge mountain to climb. Astros 5, Dodgers 0 - Top of the third
Beautiful Play by Bregman
Bregman has been a force defensively at third throughout the playoffs. He just robbed Austin Barnes of a hit. Astros 5, Dodgers 0 - Bottom of the second
Darvish Is Done
For the second start in a row, both in the World Series, Darvish is done after five outs. And oh, that was Springer's FIFTH home run of the series. Astros 5, Dodgers 0 - Top of the second
Big Moment Here
Infield probably should've been in too. Astros 3, Dodgers 0 - Top of the second

The Astros tack on another run with a slow dribbler from McCullers. Talk about a tough start for Darvish. Astros 3, Dodgers 0 - Top of the second
Two on and One Out for the Astros
Darvish just gave up a double to Marwin Gonzalez. Fortunately for the Dodgers, McCann was the man on. Couldn't get past third. Runners on second and third with one out and the pitcher up.
Astros 2, Dodgers 0 - Top of the second
Leadoff Walk for Darvish
Tough start for Darvish. He's really only thrown one bad ball, and Springer drilled it for a double. Could argue Brian McCann should be in the dugout. Astros 2, Dodgers 0 - Top of the second
Houston Escapes the First with a Lead
McCullers gave up a double and hit two batters...and came out unscathed. Struck out Seager and Bellinger and then got Pederson to ground out to end the frame. Astros 2, Dodgers 0 - Top of the second
McCullers Hits Another Batter
McCullers has now loaded the bases by plunking Puig on the elbow. Joc Pederson up with a big chance here. Bases loaded and two outs. Astros 2, Dodgers 0 - Bottom of the first
