The Masters 2018: Friday Live Leaderboard Updates, Scores and Results for Round 2
Patrick Reed shot a six-under 66 on Friday at Augusta National Golf Club to sit at nine under after two rounds of the Masters. He holds a two-shot lead on Marc Leishman, but after that, a load of former major champions are looming, including Rory McIlroy, Jordan Spieth and Dustin Johnson. Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson both made the cut but just barely, and they will start early Saturday (when rain is forecast). One that won't be moving on is defending champion Sergio Garcia, who shot 16 over in two rounds.

Reed Cards a 66, Takes Two-Shot Lead to Saturday
Patrick Reed pars the 18th to finish at 6 under for today and 9 under for the tourney.
Hadwin Doubles, Drops to Even
An unplayable ball and a drop led to Adam Hadwin double-bogeying the 18th hole and he's even for the Masters. He's now in a tie for 18th place.
From Bunker to Green ... and Then Just Off It
Patrick Reed's second shot on 18, from the bunker, lands on the green but can't stay on as it rolls back to the fringe.
Final Group on 18
The trio of Adam Hadwin, Charley Hoffman and leader Patrick Reed are teeing off.
To the 18th
Patrick Reed pars the 17th hole and takes a two-shot lead on Marc Leishman, his likely playing partner on Saturday, to the 18th.
Bittersweet Walk for Sergio
Defending Masters champion Sergio Garcia is finishing up his second straight really bad round. He's 16 over, which is tied for second-to-last place.
He's Human!
Patrick Reed bogies the 16th to fall to -9, but still two shots ahead of Marc Leishman.
Top in the Clubhouse: Marc Leishman
A par on 18 puts Marc Leishman through at -7 after two rounds. That's the best of anyone to finish the second round but still three shots back of Patrick Reed.
Tiger Finishes at +4
Tiger Woods' first Masters since 2015 will continue into the weekend. He's tied for 40th and will make the cut.
Reed Owns Par 5s
Patrick Reed birdies the 15th to move to -10. He's birdied all eight par 5 holes so far at the Masters.
Casey Makes the Cut
Paul Casey pars his final three holes to finish at +5 through two rounds. He'll be in one of the first groups on Saturday but he's going to get to play all four rounds.
From Paradise to Disaster
Bubba Watson's approach on the par-5 15th almost hits the pin and ends up rolling off the green and into the water.
51, 52 or 53 to Saturday
The cut line remains at +5 and will all but certainly end there. Two golfers still on the course are in jeopardy of falling outside of that: Tiger Woods is +4 with two holes remaining and Paul Casey is +5 and playing the 18th.
Back to a Two-Shot Lead
Patrick Reed heard the cheers from Marc Leishman's eagle on 15 and then calmly birdied the 14th to get up to -9 and re-build a two-shot lead.
Bold Prediction
Eagle Alert
Marc Leishman drains a short eagle putt on 15 to jump to -7, a shot back of Patrick Reed.
Patrick Reed, Putting Master
Reed birdies the 13th to improve to -8. It's the 18th one-putt he's had in 31 holes at the Masters.
Twenty-One Left on Course
Of those still playing the second round, 17 are currently projected to make the cut at +5 or better.
ESPN Stats & Info @ESPNStatsInfo
Patrick Reed currently holds a 2-shot lead. Would be first outright lead after any round of his major championship career. If he’s able to hold multi-shot lead after the round, worth noting that 5 of 14 players have converted that sort of lead into victory at Augusta since 1980.
Leaderboard Update
Double Bogey for Hoffman
A water shot leads to a five on the par-three 12th to drop to three under.
Tiger Stays at Four Over
Tiger Woods just misses a birdie on the 14th but gets the par.
Leishman Moves Closer
Marc Leishman birdies the 13th hole to move to six under. He's now a shot behind Patrick Reed, who just parred on 11.
Eagle Chance?
Tiger Woods' second shot on the par-five 13th is on the green, and if he can make an eagle, which has happened only once today on that hole, he'd improve to three-over and drastically improve his chances of making the cut.
Reed Returns Closer to Pack
A bogey on the 10th hole, his second bogey of the day, drops Patrick Reed to seven under. That's ONLY two shots ahead of the field now.
Another Bogey
Tiger gets up and down after the water shot on 12 but bogeys, falling to five over. That's back on the cut line.
Wet Tiger
Woods is into the drink on the 12th hole. This is trouble.
Patrick Reed Out in 31
Another birdie, this one on the ninth, gives Reed a five-under for the front nine. At eight under, he's three shots clear of the field.
Tiger's Best Shot of the Day
From 205 yards out on the par-four 11th, Woods' second shot hits the green and gives him a possible birdie opportunity. He hasn't birdied yet today.
Wet Weekend Ahead?
Leaderboard Update
Cut Line Still at Five Over
Even though Patrick Reed is seven under, the cut is the top 50 plus ties, along with anyone within 10 strokes. Only 39 are within 10 shots of Reed right now, so the top 50 (and ties) are all at five over or better.
Tied for Second
Charley Hoffman birdies the eighth.
Twenty Under Par
Despite all the struggles by some big names, 20 of the 87 golfers who entered the Masters are currently under par. Another six are even.
