Line Producer

About The Role

Bleacher Report has been a trusted source of sports information, entertainment, and culture for many years. Our Playmaker team creates experiences that reflect and celebrate the sports fan’s experience. We are seeking a Line Producer to manage and shape our stories through their expert knowledge of physical production.  You will be expected to produce and manage large and small in-house and/or 3rd party productions. 

This position requires an expert knowledge of the entire production process. You must be able to manage simultaneous projects, and your approach to the process must be detail-oriented. This position requires the highest level of professionalism, with the ability to work closely with Bleacher Report staff through professional communication and etiquette. You will also be responsible for driving high standards for the content B/R creates—assisting on multiple projects delivering both short-form and long-form content, as well as any other new formats we engage with in the future.

Job Responsibilities

  • Creates, implements and drives highly effective production plans for physical production while collaborating and working with producers, directors, strategists, and executives

  • Generate individual production budget estimates and manage working budgets and actuals

  • Provides input in all phases of content production to ensure that the creative vision can be delivered at the highest production value while meeting budget expectations

  • Hires, negotiates and clearly defines rates and working conditions for crews

  • Actualizing and tracking production budgets across the production department

  • Expert negotiator with obtaining favorable deals and discounts with vendors

  • Ability to field produce when required

Skills & Qualifications

  • 5-7 years experience in video production

  • Exceptional organization and management skills

  • Experience with scheduling, budgeting, and production managing video productions

  • Expert in Movie Magic Budgeting Software (or similar budgeting software)

About The Role:

We are looking for a Post Production Coordinator to join our Branded Content department. The Branded Content Team creates relevant and exciting stories for the Bleacher/Report audience, in partnership with brands.

The Post Production Coordinator is responsible for, but not limited to, creating and maintaining post schedules, creative talent bookings, organizing post budgets, and creating graphics requests.
The Post Production Coordinator will also assist the Supervising Post Producer in identifying new workflows and elevating capabilities of the Branded Content Team.

Post Coordinator Role (including, not limited to):
- Creating Post Schedules
- Creating and assisting project workflows
- Filling out requests for motion graphics and other resources from internal departments
- Booking and wrapping out Post Production staff and expenses on projects
- Some media management and data organization
- Aggregating visual references and sourcing resources
- Exporting new footage for selects and stringouts

AV Technician

About the Role 

The AV Technician position is an integral role that will support our NY based Video Tech Ops team in New York City accomplish audio/visual daily tasks for studio and events based production. This is a full time, benefits eligible position. 

Responsibilities 

  • Maintains all internal production workflows. Responsible for understanding wiring and functionality of all studio equipment including video hubs, converters, switchers, graphics machines, playout machines, and audio IFB/ PL wireless workflows. 

  • Works closely with on-site content creation production group to develop efficient AV/Engineering workflow processes for studio production. 

  • Troubleshoots wiring of studio cameras, set monitors, audio, lighting and ethernet connections on set or in production spaces. 

  • Is technology point person for all in-house events. Works with marketing team to determine technology needs for conferences, live activations, and speaker series. 

  • Works with technology vendors to service AV Needs of NY office space/studio. 

  • Works with Manager of Production services to help manage AV Technology studio budget for in-house production. 

Qualifications 

  • 2-4 years of AV Technology experience working in both a studio and live events production. Experience working in a control room production setting is essential

  • Advanced level of operational skills and abilities in the use of video production equipment and technology. Knowledge of camera wiring is essential

  • Experience working with microphones, IFB communication and audio mixing consoles.

  • Demonstrates ability to perform tasks under tight deadlines, work independently, and manage simultaneous projects. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Experience designing AV wiring workflows for production facilities. Knowledge of video/audio cabling fabrication a plus.

Associate Design Producer / Graphics Operator (Contract)

About the Role:

The Associate Design Producer will play an integral role in the video production process for our content operations team located in Las Vegas. The B/R x Caesars team will be tasked executing content involving socializing, generalizing and gamifying sports betting culture.

This position will be responsible for creating graphical elements and operating graphics devices at our Live Production Studio located in Caesars Palace. This is a contract based position that lasts for 2 years and is Full Time during that duration.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with Producers to provide graphic support for all video shoots
  • Produces graphical content with editorial sensibilities
  • Effectively gathers and coordinates assets needed
  • Create templates in ROSS Xpression
  • Fly created graphics in on-air situations
  • Use XML to populate cards
  • Optimize/Manage templates/creative assets
  • Execute templated work in After Effects and Photoshop
  • Pitches new design executions in Xpression
  • ●      Pitches new content based template solutions in Xpression

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-3 years experience working in production and/or technical operations
  • 1-3 years experience using ROSS Xpression or similar on-air motion graphics systems

Production Technician - Audio Operator (Contract)

About the Role:

The Production Technician- Audio Operator  will play an integral role in the video production process for our content operations team located in Las Vegas. The B/R x Caesars team will be tasked executing content involving socializing, generalizing and gamifying sports betting culture.

This position will be the lead for audio operation and audio equipment management at our Live Production Studio located in Caesars Palace. This is a contract based position that lasts for 2 years and is Full Time during that duration.

 

Responsibilities

  •  Lead audio operator for all shows and productions conducted from the Caesars Palace sportsbook stage. Responsible for mixing all live shows out of control room.
  • Perform daily audio set-up operations and continuously monitor audio levels from all sources across the facility to ensure consistent quality. Create proper documentation for audio workflows in the live production facility
  • Provide operation and basic maintenance of the production audio systems including but not limited to: audio console, RTS intercom system programming, audio server routing, RF microphones and IFBs as well as other audio or communication related support systems
  • Setup Front of House engineering and mixing equipment for live shows taking place in the Caesars Sports book with a live audience
  • Provide ENG audio support for localized field production shoots.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of related A1 experience in live, multi-camera studio production
  • Must have strong background understanding audio signal flow, routing and wiring.
  • Must have experience configuring and working with RTS ADAM intercom systems and keypanels in a control room setting
  • Must have experience working with and configuring Freespeak wireless comms system and RTS wired comms systems.
  • Must have experience working with Lectrosonic wireless microphones and IFB systems in a live production environment.
  • Must have front of house mixing experience for live events and understand audio/speaker plotting for a live audience show.
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs to set / strike studio gear
  • Experience operating as an ENG audio mixer is a plus.

Production Technician-Camera (Contract)

This position will be the lead for camera operation and camera equipment management at our Live Production Studio located in Caesars Palace. This is a contract based position that lasts for 2 years and is Full Time during that duration.

 

Responsibilities

  • Works with producing staff to execute creative/aesthetic camera vision of betting and gaming based show content.  Works closely with creative directors to establish show looks
  • Perform camera operation in studio production environment, including live show production and shooting for premium post produced pieces
  • Responsible for setting-up and breaking down all video/camera equipment for multiple shoots on daily basis from Caesars sports stage
  • Lead camera operator on local field produced pieces created for both daily and “On-Demand” video franchises.
  • Oversees equipment management process for all camera gear associated with the project.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Television/Video production
  • 4-5 years experience working in a media production environment as a camera operator. Prior live production camera operation experience is necessary
  • Experience shooting with cinema style cameras, specifically Panasonic EVA1, Sony F5, Red, and Arri cameras. Experience building out camera and lens packages is essential.
  • Knowledge with studio lighting for multi-talent productions
  • Experience as a camera lead on film or digital production style shoots
  • Must be able to work with multiple creative producers on several projects at a time.
  • Experience as a Steadicam operator/ Jib Operator required

The Job

The Realtime Highlights Editor will assist with the high volume of NCAA, UEFA and NBA highlights editing quick highlights, reels and recaps and report to the Video Technical Operations team. This is a temporary position that will run from 8/15/19-6/30/20.

Responsibilities:

  • Fulfill real time highlight requests from our Social and App teams quickly and efficiently by utilizing a video clipping service, WSC, as well as editing from raw game melt footage for UEFA, College Football and NBA

  • Edit different versions of source video with each version being optimized for specific social platform destinations

  • Distribute clips to appropriate publishing channels and into a CMS to be featured on the Bleacher Report website

  • Ability to work nights and weekends a must

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required

  • 2-3 years experience editing in a professional environment

Social Video Producer - Temp

The BR Betting team is looking for an experienced, dedicated Las Vegas-based Producer to shoot and create videos for our social channels. We work in a fast-paced, 24-7 field in a laid-back environment. You'll be in a role that allows you to work with multiple groups and networks. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Pitch, plan, shoot and produce multiple videos each week for B/R’s social platforms

  • Capture the excitement of the sportsbook floor and package/produce it for social channels

  • Must have experience working with sports brand social media accounts

  • Assist social team in requesting graphics, acquiring video assets and assembling projects

  • Display a knowledge across sports and sports betting

  • Expert in using social platforms native tools (Instagram Stories, Twitter and Facebook).

  • Be able to tell an effective, coherent video story through video in B/R’s social voice

Video Editor 1 (Contract)

About the Role:

The Video Editor 1 will play an integral role in the video production process for our content operations team located in Las Vegas. The B/R x Caesars team will be tasked executing content involving socializing, generalizing and gamifying sports betting culture.

This position will be responsible for editing original video content produced out of our Caesars Palace production stage . This is a contract based position that lasts for 2 years and is Full Time during that duration.

 

Responsibilities

  • Editing daily social video to support the programming initiatives for the B/R Betting vertical.
  • Assists in the exporting and publishing of daily video content to Bleacher Report’s mobile app and social platforms.
  • Assists with media asset management process, tagging video content living on company production storage servers and utilizing the media asset management system
  • Works with producing staff to edit playback content and elements for live productions taking place in the control room
  • Operate daily control room ingest process of all studio video content
  • Setup and monitors all live streams to distribution platforms utilizing WOWZA Clearcaster software. Works with programming teams on sending video to the correct live stream destinations

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Television/Video production
  • 1-2 years of experience working as an editor in a media production environment. Working in a live production environment is a plus.
  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and in Adobe Photoshop editing software
  • Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects
  • Knowledge in color correction, audio mixing and mixdowns prefered
  • Knowledge working with NAS Production Storage servers and Media Asset Management systems.
