Associate Branded Content Producer

What You Will be Doing...

Bleacher Report is currently seeking an Associate Branded Content Producer to join our London-based team. The associate branded content producer will support the branded content producer in the B/R media sales & marketing team. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Researching athletes, stats, and pop culture
  • Organising and tracking projects in pre and post-sale
  • Taking detailed notes in writers’ rooms, production meetings, and edit rooms
  • Maintaining department wide documents
  • Scheduling department and cross-department meetings
  • Supporting Producers through all aspects of production
  • Track and manage deliverables
  • Liaise between departments to manage video assets

What We're Looking For...

  • 1-2 years’ experience working in a professional production environment
  • Strong writing and producing skills
  • Ability to communicate ideas effectively and efficiently
  • Organized, detail oriented, and self-motivated
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Familiarity with all forms of visual storytelling, digital and linear

  • Knowledge of digital post-production process using Adobe and Apple software.

Senior Producer, Branded Content

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced, NYC-based Senior Producer to join our Branded Content department. The branded content team creates relevant and exciting stories for the Bleacher/Report audience, in partnership with brands. 

The Branded Content team will be tasked with bringing the industry-leading voice and distribution strategy to brand partners. The Branded Content studio will work with brands to concept video, text, interactive and live events platforms and then execute the ideas with internal and external partners.

The Senior Producer is responsible for directing and/or producing top-level productions as well as managing and mentoring junior producers on the team. Senior Producer will also assist the Supervising Producer in identifying new storytelling trends and elevating content capabilities of the Branded Content Team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Direct and/or produce top-level productions
  • Efficiently manage and mentor other producers on the Branded Content Team
  • Responsible for driving and elevating Bleacher Report’s filmmaking capabilities
  • Work with Supervising Producer on story planning, pitch process and feature segments
  • Plan future campaigns and story coverage in conjunction with content, programming, and analytic teams
  • Create and Track Budgets and Schedule across multiple campaigns pre-sale and post-sale

About You:

  • Expert Filmmaker
  • 7+ years of video production experience

About the Role:

As part of our Edit team, you will work on a variety of projects from Social Media to News to mini Docs. Bleacher Report Video is on the cutting edge of the sports and entertainment industries so we’ll be asking you to push your creative boundaries. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ability to edit according to storyboards, tight scripts, and brand guidelines or with basic concepts and little direction

  • Edit a wide range of videos such as branded content, daily social videos, mini-features, music videos, multi-cam shoots, sales sizzles

  • Edit different versions of a source video with each version being optimized for the social platform destination

  • Ability to work in high pressure, fast-paced production environment with quick turnarounds

  • Ability to adapt to changes in production plan/schedules

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.

  • 5+ years editing in a professional environment

  • Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro, proficient in Adobe Photoshop and After Effects

  • Proficient  in color correction, audio mixing and mixdowns

  • Great communication skills - be able to give and receive critical feedback in a team environment

Studio/Camera Operator

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Bleacher Report is looking to hire a temporary Studio/Camera Operator to assist in our busy studio production environment. This temporary position will be assisting our production team at our studios in NYC.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Assist with camera operations in studio production environments, including live show production and shooting for post produced pieces
  • Responsible for setting-up and breaking down all video equipment for multiple shoots on daily basis
  • Assists with the equipment management checkout process for all field/ remote shoots
  • Assists with studio lighting and audio mixing of live to tape shows/ videos done out of the studio.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Television/Video production
  • 2-3 years experience working in a media production environment. Prior live production camera operation experience is a plus
  • Experience shooting with Sony A7s, A9 and F5 cameras
  • Knowledge of Studio Lighting for multiple talent
  • Knowledge of basic audio production workflows
  • Experience as a Steadicam operator/ Jib Operator a plus

Supervising Producer, Post Production

About the Role:

Bleacher Report has been a trusted source of sports information, entertainment, and culture for many years. Our diverse content teams create experiences that reflect and celebrate the sports fan’s experience. We are seeking a Supervising Producer to manage and shape our post production department. You will be expected to direct and improve our post-production systems, drive deadlines for delivery across multiple projects, and handle a large workflow, managing multiple editors in the pressure of the digital production world. This is a senior position that requires an expert knowledge of the entire post-production process. You must be able to manage simultaneous projects, and your approach to the process must be detail-oriented, organizing large amounts of information, assets, and data. This position requires the highest level of professionalism, with the ability to work closely with Bleacher Report staff through professional communication and etiquette. You will also be responsible for driving high standards for the content B/R creates—supervising edits and delivering both short-form and long-form content, as well as any other new formats we engage with in the future.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing the performance of a team of editors which includes but is not limited to scheduling, annual performance reviews, creative development, salary increase and bonus recommendation.

  • Establish, refine and/or implement post-production processes to streamline work.

  • Work with Executive Director as needed to ensure resources are available and work is completed in a timely fashion.

  • Make recommendations and inform decisions around technical and application enhancements to grow the quality of the product.

  • Work with design and production counterparts to establish a creative style guide for all video, and ensure that editors are adhering to style guide on all projects.

  • Strong experience in building, designing and implementing edit process in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.

  • Specialist in Premiere & Adobe’s family of post-production applications. Digital video background, solid understanding of digital production.

  • Comprehensive understanding of capabilities and limitations of web technologies.

 

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years experience in digital video post production

  • 1 - 2 years people management experience preferred

  • College degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communication, or related field

  • Exceptional organization and management skills

  • Sports experience a plus

  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Effective project management, tracking and organizational skills
