Senior Administrative Assistant

About the Role:

Reporting to the Office Manager, the Administrative Assistant will provide various support services to the SF office staff and 6 executives. This person will be responsible for maintaining office appearance, supplies (including food/drink stocking), and will assist with the planning and execution of events.

Responsibilities include:

  • Admin Support for 6 Leadership Execs
    • Calendar management
    • Cordinating travel arrangements
    • Expense Management
    • Assist with varius meeting/event planning such as offsite, all hands, leadership meetings (booking conference rooms, group reservations, catering, and other logistics)
    • Wrk closely with Leadership execs’ direct reports (as well as their reports) to help them prioritize joint meetings, travel, and other miscellaneous administrative needs
    • Develping and maintaining network/relationship with assistants of other executives in Bleacher Report and Turner
  • Work in close coordination with the larger office operations and administrative team

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years experience in administrative assistant role
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Must have strong communication and organization skills
  • Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize
  • Must have great attention to detail and be proactive
  • Sufficient at Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Google platforms
  • Expense management and budget accountability experience preferred.

VP, Content Licensing

About the role:

The VP, Content Licensing is responsible for developing and implementing Bleacher Report’s content licensing strategy to achieve revenue and brand objectives. We are looking for an entrepreneurial and experienced candidate with a track record of success and established relationships with potential partners, preferably in Sports/Music and/or digital media/OTT. This individual will work very closely with the B/R Content team to identify and evaluate potential opportunities (domestically and internationally), and to leverage the full breadth of B/R’s short-form and long-form storytelling capabilities including text, video, and social.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with executive management to develop B/R’s content licensing strategy and grow content licensing revenue through strategic partnerships.

  • Develop a deep understanding of B/R's content strategy and capabilities.

  • Leverage the full breadth of B/R storytelling and maximize the value of our content library.

  • Identify potential opportunities that are strategically aligned with B/R’s content strategy and brand positioning.

  • Present the BR brand story in a compelling and authentic way to potential partners; clearly articulate the value and unique differentiators of B/R in the marketplace.

  • Collaborate effectively with executive management, content leadership, ad sales, and business development teams on strategy and day-to-day execution.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience with knowledge of IP law and content licensing best practices.

  • Track record of successful partnerships and deal making.

  • Strong network and existing relationships in the content licensing space.

  • In-depth understanding of the digital media industry (preferably sports or music) with strong editorial/content sensibilities.

  • Ability to independently evaluate and negotiate potential deals and strategic partnerships.

  • Outgoing, entrepreneurial and collaborative personality with the ability to develop strong relationships and tenacity to identify and close deals.

  • Outstanding communication and analytical skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
