About the Role:

Bleacher Report has been a trusted source of sports information, entertainment, and culture for many years now. Our diverse content teams create experiences that reflect and celebrate the sports fan’s experience. Through E-Commerce, we are looking to recreate a similar spirit and energy – in the same way that B/R uses its innovative content and authentic distribution to “win” moments in sports, we plan to win and celebrate key moments in sports through merchandise. We are looking for an experienced E-Commerce professional to pave the way into this new extension of the brand.

Responsibilities:

  • Help define and develop the look and feel of our ecommerce and merchandising initiatives. This includes the look & feel of everything including branding (logo + packaging), products, photography, store and promotional assets and outlets (micro-sites, social media assets, marketing assets within our O&O properties, email marketing etc)

  • Conceptualize, design and oversee design direction for products, seasonal collections, capsule collections and collaborations with designers and influencers.

  • Execute various types of textile/graphic design on various fabrications and materials.

  • Knowledge of current trends in fashion and ability to adapt to trends accordingly

  • Point-person & liaison for all 3rd party and agency partnerships for creative direction and needs. I.e. hiring of contractors for product design, oversee and manage photoshoots/video-shoots with due diligence and sourcing of 3rd party consultants.

  • Create internal workflow and development efficiencies for scaled growth and cross-functional optimization for the creative division of the marketing department

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or design-related equivalent.

  • Sound understanding of User Experience and best-in-class interfaces that effectively serve the needs of the target audience of each brand

  • 6+ years experience in apparel, graphic and digital design for reputable fashion brands or key digital agency experience specific to the streetwear, footwear/apparel industry.

  • Strong Photoshop and Illustrator skills

  • Excellent UI design and prototyping skill set using rapid prototyping tools e. G. Sketch, InVision or Adobe XD

Bonus Points:

  • Experience building E-Commerce or Fashion initiatives within larger/existing organizations.

  • Experience working in sports or sports media.

  • Knowledge of photo processes and production from studio to location, lifestyle to PDP

  • Deep connection to streetwear culture and trend

  • Experience in branding and logo identity for projects both large and small

  • Ability to design interface concepts and wireframes using both sketching techniques and digital illustration tools.

  • Excellent writing and communications experience preferred.

The Design Lead is a visual leader and passionate storyteller who creates highly immersive digital experiences. You thrive at the intersection of design and technology leading design on our biggest, most ambitious interactive stories.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead design from concept to launch on our biggest, most ambitious interactive stories

  • Shape story narratives to deliver beautifully designed work that is both informative and on-brand

  • Ability to commission and art direct illustrations, animations, photoshoots

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Bleacher Report is hiring a Senior Designer for our Motion Design team who will work to create new and exciting social template IP.  The designer will also work on developing graphics packages for our new shows and branded content. The Senior Designer will collaborate with other designers and departments to create original & dynamic visuals.  This role will require the ability to work autonomously on large design projects when applicable.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Senior Product Designer role on the product design team owns the complete process from definition to launch for our mobile apps, websites, and internal tools. You identify goals/problems and employ a broad set of design tools (e.g. Sketch, Framer, HTML/CSS) to best solve and communicate. You will also assume a leadership role by providing regular, direct and impactful feedback in critiques and in-person, additionally engaging individual designers in adjacent product teams to help them grow their skills and design toolkit.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Demonstrates expertise of layout, typography and visual hierarchy
  • Creates consistent, scalable design solutions across all platforms
  • Responsible for delivering wireframes, user flows, user testing, low-fidelity designs, high-fidelity designs, specs, assets.

  • Partners with PMs and engineers to oversee the user experience of a product from conception until launch
  • Leads sprints from Discovery to engineering handoff.
