Vanessa Bryant: Victor Ortiz's Manager Denies He's Dating Kobe Bryant's Wife

Hollywood is full of lies and rumors with the occasional truth here or there. So when talk heated up that boxer Victor Ortiz was linked with Vanessa Bryant, his people quickly stepped up to set the truth straight. 

Lance Pugmire is a sports reporter for the Los Angeles Times, and he tweeted what the manager of Ortiz had to say about these crazy rumors. 

Ortiz was born and raised in Kansas, so it's easy to believe that statement. Plus, if you've ever seen some of the girls in the mid-west, you'd know why he'd be smitten for the blondes. 

Vanessa Bryant is currently going through a divorce with her soon-to-be ex-husband, NBA star Kobe Bryant. 

It's a shame that rumors like this pop up because this is the last thing Vanessa needs right now. Even if she is dating, which wouldn't help her out during the divorce settlement, the public doesn't need to know about it. 

She's been through a lot, not just right now, but also in the past. Kobe has cheated on her once before, and now she claims he's been cheating on her numerous times with multiple women. 

Ortiz is preparing for a rematch fight with Andre Berto, which will take place in February. The first time they fought, Ortiz won on a unanimous decision. 

He too doesn't need all of this right now. He's coming off a loss to Floyd Mayweather Jr., and he needs a victory. 

Extra distractions will hurt his preparation, which is why his manager was quick to dispute the rumors. 

These kind of things happen all the time in Hollywood, and both Ortiz and Bryant more than likely just brushed it off and are focusing on what is important to them; money.

Vanessa gets a bunch from Kobe after the divorce and Ortiz gets a fat paycheck if he wins. If there is any truth to this at all, we won't really know until after things have settled over.
