Just Saying: Who Is The Real Most Over Superstar In The WWE?

Joe Burgett Jan 1, 2009

For a while now, I have been hearing John Cena is the most over person in the WWE.

That he won the World Heavyweight Championship in his first night back and he had only because the WWE liked him so much. Really??

People keep forgetting that Edge won the WWE Championship his first night back too.

And he has gotten more World Titles than Cena, won mostly all of his matches and was over a good bit on Cena in their feud on RAW years back.

Sure, Cena ended up coming out on top in the end, but the face always does. Edge won every one of his World Titles in controversial fashion. And has management in Vickie Guerrero in his back pocket.

People hate that John Cena won his World Title, but why be upset that Cena won when Edge was just as much over as he was. I'm Just Saying.

He has been over longer than Cena too. Ever since he won his first Money In the Bank he has been over. Cena actually when he was over in matches was not always a World Champion.

I'm Just Saying the reason why you hate Cena is because he is over and is a face. See when Edge wins he is the heel and we get upset as we should that the heel won. But not as upset as we do Cena because Edge is a heel.

See I am tired of hearing Cena is over in everyone of his matches. We all know he wins them a good bit. Especially since his return. But I believe Edge has won most of his matches too.

The only one has not won is the WWE Championship match that Jeff Hardy went over in. See, we were overjoyed when Hardy won because we liked him. And that is cool. The problem is that we see Cena win more than Hardy.

Sure, Hardy may win matches, but not so many World Championships. Cena has and that kills WWE fans. Yet you don't care when Edge wins? At least Cena wins his matches fairly in front of you.

Edge wins with help, yet he wins just the same. The WWE saw he would look like he was to over if he didn't have Vickie to insure he won matches. So they put them back together as if Vickie never put Edge in a Hell in a Cell match with The Undertaker.

I'm just saying that is kind overboard to go to such extremes to keep Edge looking good. Cena goes into a match, wins it, and leaves. He appeals to the younger audience with his sayings and the way he wrestles.

It is more geared to the fans, many like that he does that. Edge appeals to really no one, yet people like him because he plays the heel part well. And Cena doesn't play the face part well?

I'm Just Saying. is is really possible to think that way? Cena is supposed to win his matches. We the fans are supposed to want him to win. And when he does what he is supposed to do as the face, we ridicule him for it?

Yet Edge goes over in many of his matches and we are supposed to not like him winning because he is the heel. And we don't right? I don't think so, yet he does. And we have no problem with that.

I'm Just Saying, if you're going to hate a person for playing his character, that is kind of stupid. And if your going to look for the real most over superstar try Edge. It is obvious he is more if you look at it.

What do you think?
