Scanning the 2009 NFL Mock Drafts | Andre Smith Doesn't Fall
So our first scandal leading up to the 2009 NFL Draft does not appear to cause Alabama’s Andre Smith to fall in the NFL Mock Drafts. Nick Saban has said that the suspension for some sort of dealings with an agent are in-house and not an NCAA matter.
Andre Smith is also saying that he has not ruled out a return to 'Bama in 2009, either. Looking over the Mock Draft Database at Football Jabber, Andre Smith still consistently comes in as a Top Three Pick. Looks have a look how the others are doing in some updated NFL Mocks…
Scout.com has Matt Stafford out of the Top Three, but not for long. Chris Steuber projects him landing with the Seahawks. This makes sense, as with the Big Show ending his run in Seattle, it could be starting over time in Seattle. What am I saying, could be? The Seahawks are picking fourth. It is starting over time!
Are you curious where you think Tim Tebow will be falling in the draft if he participates this season? You won’t see that on most Mocks because a majority are only looking at the first round, but Draft Tek has him because they are projecting a whopping SIX NFL ROUNDS of NFL Mockness!
They have him going to the Houston Texans in the second round.
Fantasy Football Xtreme has the Texans taking Georgia Tech DE Michael Johnson. WOW! Could you imagine Michael Johnson and Mario Williams on the same defensive line?
The Football Expert has Chris “Beanie” Wells staying in Ohio as the Running Back in Cleveland. They cite the age of Jamal Lewis and the NFL being a two-back league as reasons for the pick, which are both good reasons. They do also point out that the Browns could go defense here.
Despite that trophy thingy, it is still Matt Stafford over Sam Bradford to join the Detroit Ford’s at Walter Football. Reasoning is simple. They don’t think that Bradford comes out because he is only a Redshirt Soph.
The Draft King weighs out the options at the No. 1 pick, debating QB or Defense, before finally settling on Sam Bradford.
If Michael Crabtree decides to come out, NFL Mock Draft Aces has him going from a Red Raider to an Oakland Raider. Crabtree, JaMarcus Russell, and Darren McFadden? That certainly would make for an interesting group if they got the help they needed up front to let them play the game.
Until next time, keep up on the happenings at our branch off NFL Draft Hub and the new NFL Mock Draft Database!
