New Orleans Saints vs. Minnesota Vikings: Live Score, Video and Analaysis
December 18, 2011
Saints 42, Vikings 20, Final Score
The New Orleans Saints destroyed the Minnesota Vikings 42-20, and they proved to doubters that they can play dominant defense and win on the road.
The Saints are as good of an opponent as you can find for the Green Bay Packers in the playoffs, and they proved that once again today.
Drew Brees went off on the Vikings defense as he completed 80 percent of his passes, threw for over 400 yards, five touchdown passes and had a quarterback rating of 149.2. While he continued to dazzle Saints' fans through the air, Darren Sproles continued to dominate the game in all-purpose yards with 231 yards today.
It was a dominant performance by the Saints on offense and defense, and this was my live analysis throughout the game.
