Todd Haley Fired: GM Scott Pioli Gave Him Zero Chance for Success
In a league that requires teams to win and win now, loyalty, especially to coaches is little or non-existent.
The Kansas City Chiefs have fired head coach Todd Haley after they dropped to 5-8 with a 37-10 loss to the Jets on Sunday.
Was coaching the real issue with the Chiefs?

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
I know that a great coach can coach any players he has to win, but coaches like that are few and hard to find.
And I would challenge even the greatest of coaches to win with Tyler Palko as their starting quarterback.
I will be the first to admit that I have not followed Palko’s career, mainly because he really has yet to have one, but watching him play gives me headaches.
The guy has the arm strength of a high school quarterback and one of the slowest deliveries I have ever seen in the NFL.
A weak arm and slow release is a recipe for disaster.
Along with having a starting quarterback that couldn’t start for most major NCAA teams, Haley also had to deal with the loss of Jamal Charles, arguably a top five NFL running back.
How can anyone expect a coach to win with a team like that?
Houston has managed to deal with injuries really well, but mainly because they have put together a team with ridiculous amounts of depth.
The Texans wouldn’t be winning with Tyler Palko running the offense.
Maybe Haley wasn’t the best coach, but 5-8 with that roster is not bad.
If anyone deserved to be fired it is general manager Scott Pioli. He gave Haley zero chance of success in Kansas City.
