Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?  No!

And it ain't over now!

For years fantasy football seasons have traditionally ended in the waning weeks of the regular season.  This sudden death ending left many players with an empty, "who am I going to watch" feeling as they stared blankly at their DirecTV Sunday Ticket SuperFan package with little to say other than, "Ugh, if he had only played like that last week!"

You know the feeling.  You've gone back to your league's website with the hope that you would find a new match up and a roster full of players to be benched or activated.

Thanks to a new crop of innovative fantasy junkies that also could not stand for the season to end, you can soon find yourself analyzing match-ups, selecting players to fill your roster and once again thoroughly enjoying an NFL Weekend.

There are several options for you to extend your fantasy season.  Take a look at ESPN's Gridiron Playoff Challenge (Free to enter, no prize specified), CBS Sportsline's Playoff Challenge (also free to enter, $5000 prize, play against entire world) or get off the main road and venture out to some of the smaller sites that have popped up recently.

One such site is 365fantasysports.  This site gives you free points when you join that you can use to enter any of the free contests that they offer.  Winners of these free contests earn "tokens" that can then be played in future contests to win cash or saved and later spent on anything from t-shirts and hats to electronics and gift cards.

If you'd prefer to play for good ol' cold cash, you can do that as well.  You'll find contests with entry fees that range from $11 to $110.  You can play in two-, three-, or six-man games. In a two-man, $22 game, the winner would walk away with $40.  In a six-man, $110 game, the winner would take down $600.

Some of the contests have point caps, others are wide open allow you maximum freedom to select your roster.  Registering on the site is quick and free.

The site is extremely easy to navigate and the games are clear and simple to both understand and play.  You can draft your team at any time and you are not committed to your roster beyond this week's games.  You will even find Saturday only and Sunday only contests.

The "Invite a Friend" feature makes it simple to, well, invite your friends. As a bonus, you'll get rewarded with additional points every time one of your friends registers.

If the idea of playing today, winning today, and getting paid today is intriguing to you and you appreciate simplicity and fantasy excitement, this site is the answer to extending your fantasy football season.

365fantasysports.com also offers daily fantasy basketball (NBA) contests as well as daily fantasy contests for college hoops.  Daily fantasy NASCAR and daily fantasy baseball will begin with the start of their respective seasons.
